We had a family outing to the Inbursa Aquarium including my two year old granddaughter. Everybody had a great time as we passed by the different fish tanks including sharks, colorful tropical fish, jellyfish to end up with playful penguins. Lots of photo opportunities and family time. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite crowded but I guess on weekdays it must be quiet.

We walked through the square, left and arrived at the Inbursa Aquarium, it was a long line, we were undecided because this day our flight was leaving, we asked and a young man told us that they were letting us enter the two museums with the purchase of one's ticket, this is also We could see the interactive one, so we decided to buy the tickets and try to get to know the two museums that are relatively close to each other, the general admission is $280 pesos p/p.

With its motto of “More than an aquarium, We are the sea of the city”, there are more than 14,000 specimens of 350 species, such as sharks, which are truly impressive to see through the glass with their enormous size, and penguins, a great spectacle. They are divine, rays, jellyfish, axolotls, countless fish tanks with this species that is in danger of extinction and we can see them in their entire development process, reptiles among which we find a huge crocodile, in the two aquariums more than 50 exhibits .
They have a Conservation Center and Reproduction Laboratory, to preserve marine life, great efforts are made so that we, the visitors of both the aquarium and this planet, get involved in knowing, learning and being passionate about our spaces, in the museum. It is a family and learning environment, they take us by the hand so that we can share with marine life in a correct and friendly way, they have a concept called “edutainment”, which combines education plus entertainment.”

We entered at 1:00pm after approximately an hour we left for Plaza Carso, where the interactive museum is located, this is where the axolotl is in all its splendor, turtles, colorful fish, rays and some activities with technology.

I invite you to write your own story until next time and have a good trip

The Inbursa Aquarium is one of the largest in Latin America. You can meet more than five thousand animals of more than 230 different species and admire 48 exhibits with a thousand specimens distributed in five huge fish tanks and other ponds. Among the animals that can be seen there are sharks, turtles, crocodiles, jellyfish, piranhas, penguins, manta rays and corals.
It consists of four underground floors. The tour starts at the lowest level where there is a sunken ship. On the second floor there are jellyfish, clown fish and other marine life. On the third floor there are freshwater species such as axolotls and reptiles, and on the fourth floor is the commercial area. This place will surely amaze young and old.
The general ticket has a cost of $230. However, the price is worth it because it gives you access to both the Inbursa and the Interactive Aquarium, where you can touch jellyfish and turtles, buy nice souvenirs as well as enjoy the temporary exhibitions.
An incredible place where you will learn and discover new things.

The aquarium has very interesting exhibits and many species to appreciate. Together, the Inbursa Aquarium and the Interactive Aquarium make up a great option to visit in the city. The entrance ticket gives access to both aquariums, but they are not in the same building, so be prepared to walk a lot. One of the biggest attractions is the axolotl conservation area.

The least attractive exhibit is that of the pirates.

Undoubtedly one of the best places I have visited, it has a wide variety of aquatic animals and various activities to do within the guided tours for both children and adults, as well as a very nice souvenir shop at affordable prices for Always carry with you the memory of a place as extraordinary as the inbursa aquarium. It is the best aquarium that Mexico City has. I highly recommend visiting it with your family because you are going to spend a moment of happiness, fun, learning and lots of laughter.

An unmissable stop in Mexico City, it has many pros, a great diversity of fauna, a very clean place, very friendly people with good customer service, the price of admission is worth what it costs, the prices of the photos and of the memories are for Mr. Slim and not for mortals, in that case they are passed on; Be very careful, the price of the ticket includes entry to the interactive aquarium that is in Plaza Carso, strategically placed, be sure to visit it. It is actually a great place, it is very worth it, if you can leave the car in Antara so as not to suffer with the traffic.

This place was huge! and actually it is two places with lots to see. The themes are fun and engaging and my two sons and I (4 and 6) had a great time! We learned a lot and I would recommend it. Only thing I would advise is to try and go during a quieter time, possibly early morning during the week. We went on a Monday and there was just a few school groups which was fine but it already made it feel like a lot of people.

Foreign Visitors! Save your money and your time! Not worth it. System was down, they kept us waiting for more than one hour outside, without telling anyone what the problem was. Finally after waiting for ever we got it and the place doesn’t have the proper lighting, no AC working, fish tanks are cloudy and dirty. The place was absolutely packed! Never again!

This was so much better than expected. We added this as a filler but it proved to be well worth the price. There are 2 parts, one (interactive) being in a mall. You qualify for the 2nd one if you buy the photo package. Nice marine creatures, the huge bonus were the penguins in the 1st and the axolotles in the 2nd. Your kids will love it.

Expected more, i would suggest to skip it.

Crowded, dirty and small.

Better options out there.

We wanted to do the penguin experience and they were sold out.

If you go, Buy the tickets with fast entry ONLINE and try to get an experience.
