The Inbursa Aquarium is one of the largest in Latin America. You can meet more than five thousand animals of more than 230 different species and admire 48 exhibits with a thousand specimens distributed in five huge fish tanks and other ponds. Among the animals that can be seen there are sharks, turtles, crocodiles, jellyfish, piranhas, penguins, manta rays and corals.
It consists of four underground floors. The tour starts at the lowest level where there is a sunken ship. On the second floor there are jellyfish, clown fish and other marine life. On the third floor there are freshwater species such as axolotls and reptiles, and on the fourth floor is the commercial area. This place will surely amaze young and old.
The general ticket has a cost of $230. However, the price is worth it because it gives you access to both the Inbursa and the Interactive Aquarium, where you can touch jellyfish and turtles, buy nice souvenirs as well as enjoy the temporary exhibitions.
An incredible place where you will learn and discover new things.

We had a family outing to the Inbursa Aquarium including my two year old granddaughter. Everybody had a great time as we passed by the different fish tanks including sharks, colorful tropical fish, jellyfish to end up with playful penguins. Lots of photo opportunities and family time. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite crowded but I guess on weekdays it must be quiet.

Undoubtedly one of the best places I have visited, it has a wide variety of aquatic animals and various activities to do within the guided tours for both children and adults, as well as a very nice souvenir shop at affordable prices for Always carry with you the memory of a place as extraordinary as the inbursa aquarium. It is the best aquarium that Mexico City has. I highly recommend visiting it with your family because you are going to spend a moment of happiness, fun, learning and lots of laughter.

This place was huge! and actually it is two places with lots to see. The themes are fun and engaging and my two sons and I (4 and 6) had a great time! We learned a lot and I would recommend it. Only thing I would advise is to try and go during a quieter time, possibly early morning during the week. We went on a Monday and there was just a few school groups which was fine but it already made it feel like a lot of people.

Foreign Visitors! Save your money and your time! Not worth it. System was down, they kept us waiting for more than one hour outside, without telling anyone what the problem was. Finally after waiting for ever we got it and the place doesn’t have the proper lighting, no AC working, fish tanks are cloudy and dirty. The place was absolutely packed! Never again!

This was so much better than expected. We added this as a filler but it proved to be well worth the price. There are 2 parts, one (interactive) being in a mall. You qualify for the 2nd one if you buy the photo package. Nice marine creatures, the huge bonus were the penguins in the 1st and the axolotles in the 2nd. Your kids will love it.

I've visited others bigger aquariums, this place is good enough, however I believe is a little bit expensive, the cost is 200 pesos (Nov 2018) per person. If this is the first time you go, this is ok, I recommend this place, just maybe you'll feel it is a little bit expensive like I felt, but this is a good enough experience.

The aquarium is still so new that the lines on the weekend are too long and it is very crowded inside. When I took my daughters last Tuesday I was disappointed to discover that several of the exhibits are still not open. Also it is hard for kids to see because most of the tanks are high, plan on lifting you small children to see things. It’s too bad they didn’t build standing areas for kids. Take a hat or umbrella if you are going to be waiting in line because there is no shade and the line is outside.
When you start the tour you are taken to the bottom floor which seems to be two or three levels underground. It was very dark, hot and crowded. It seemed that the air did not work well on that floor. Also, all explanations of the animals are on a wall when you first get into each room, which means that there are large clusters of people at the entrances. If you do not need to read about the animals just move past all of the people. The only discount offered if with INAPAM, so plan on paying $130 pesos per person after age 3.
It is not the most impressive aquarium I have ever been too, but my daughters had fun. Plan to spend 1-2 hours visiting. You should park in he Chedraui/Costco, Pabellon Polanco or Antara Parking lots and walk.

Most of the time people don’t know that it’s possible to skip this aquarium line simply by buying the tickets online.
We did so and waited about 10 minutes for the entryway.

We went as a group to visit this other gift from Carlos Slim.
Don’t buy your tickets online as they could be as much as twice the price, especially if you are 65 or over.
You can also buy a pass for about twice the price of the admission which will give you access to the acuario,The interactive acuario, the Chapultapec feria, Ventura park in Cancun, Selva Magica in Guadalajara and Acuario del Bario.

The entrance presents an enormous aquarium containing all sorts of fish including 3 types of sharks swimming freely. Following this are smaller tanks displaying other fishes including sea snakes and sea horse.

This first visit will take about 1 -2 hours if you are very curious or have a curious chid.

The it’s off to the Acuario Interactiva, situated in the Telcel mall across the Bulevar Cervantes Saavedra.

This is the home of Pingouins, turtles and animals of the deep. This could take over 2 hours if you want to learn everything.

In total, the combination of both the acuarios is probably the largest in latin America.

This is a half day visit at the least. If you want to avoid the lineups, get there around 10h30. We did this on a Saturday and waited 3 minutes.

Go see this in Mexico and, for a full day of incredible beauty, visit the Soumaya Museum. It is free and unbelievably beautiful.

In addition to Rodin, some notable European artists whose work is displayed include Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, the circle of Leonardo da Vinci, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Joan Miró, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, El Greco, Camille Claudel, and Tintoretto. But it also has
a beautiful collection of pre-hispanica art, Mexican painters like Diego Rivera, ivory sculptures etc.

The building itself is a work of art.
