The Temple del Pocito is on the grounds of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This building house the well that used to be on the grounds that had the medicinal water in it!!! It has a gorgeous inside but it also is sinking and the building now is in need of structural engineers to come up with a solution to its sinking. They now have steel bands around part of the building and are also trying to shore up its foundation. Just another lovely building on the grounds!!! Simply outstanding!!!!!!!!

Beautiful tiles adorn this church which is sinking into uneven ground. There are caves underneath and a well for which it is famous. Definitely worth a look.

The Well Chapel is in the Guadalupe Shrine Complex, and it one of the few Mexican Churches that have an elliptical plan. It was built over a stream, that is said was miraculous and the water help to restore the health, unfortunately it got contaminated with the coins throw on it so now a days it cannot be visited where the water flows, but the church is worth visiting.

Love the front facade of Capilla Del Pocito, visited a while back. Also the inside is lovely with the rich alte and the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the left and St. Joseph and the child Jesus on the right. There is a glass coffin of a saint inside, did not have any information about who it was.

Paintings of four apparitions are the main attraction. Small church close to the basilica and Tepeyac hill. Must see if you are catholic.

I was solo one morning and a friend took me here, the outside and the inside of this old building are astonishing, I took pics and a guy who was cleaning told us the story that was built more than 300 years ago.
