We did the evening tour and met 3 other nice individuals with Luis the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about traditional Mexican food as well as the Polanco area. It is a great way to start your visit to Mexico City.
Luis was very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time with him. He was very accommodating as my sister does not eat meat, she enjoyed this tour with vegan dishes.
Thank you, Luis, and take care of your self.
The overall experience with Eduardo was fantastic from minute one. We visited the local market to pick up the ingredients we would be using which was very interesting and followed this up by returning to the kitchen which was in a beautiful building.
We had NO idea what this was going to be like going into it, and we were both blown away. Eduardo’s a professionally trained chef at one of D.F’s top restaurants. He has a great personality, sense of humor and complete command of the English...More
Luis was wonderful! Great way to experience the Polanco area of Mexico City. My only suggestion is to pace yourself! Some much great food. The taco dried beef and cactus taco at the cantina was my absolute favorite!
We did the 11:00am tour.
The food was all excellent and our tour guide, Louis was so knowledgeable not only about traditional Mexican food, but also Mexican heritage and history.
We ate very well and learned a lot.

Luis was incredible and so knowledgeable! The food selection was great and you end the day feeling satisfied but not overly full which is ideal. We visited two of the restaurants later in the week. The best way to learn about a city!
Poshness defines Polanco, this wealthy neighborhood retains elegance unmatched elsewhere in Distrito Federal. Brunch in the Polanquito area, then keep up with the latest fashion trends in luxury boutiques around every corner. Top it off with beautiful cafés and restaurants that surround Lincoln Park, a treat to the senses thanks to the art decó architecture and high quality gourmet cuisine found here.
