This neighborhood is popular for a reason. The trees and design of the streets is well worth the visit. To be fair, this area is more “trendy “ and therefore the prices here reflect that, so expect to pay more for everything. We loved walking around Amsterdam Avenue and then enjoying both España Parque and Parque México.

Such an amazing neighborhood. We are finishing a monthlong trip and of our multiple visits to Mexico City, this is definitely the most pleasant neighborhood. Very Greenwich village feel to it, with small shops, restaurants and a few coffee shops and bars scattered throughout. Avenida Amsterdam as well as both Parque España and Parque México are beautiful. Suffered some earthquake damage in 2017 but new modern buildings are popping up. Cannot wait to come back!

We walked around this neighborhood and visited the Parque Mexico's Audiorama and Tomasa Condesa. There are a lot of places to eat in this neighborhood. Feels perfectly safe to walk around and enjoy some people watching.

Just had a few hours to kill and this area was the meeting point for a taco tour. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the area. Tons of gays, couples with dogs, bicylists, runners, street musicians all enjoying the gorgeous central park and walkways. Each neighborhood was enjoyable, lots of shops and restaurants.

This area is considered one of the best in CDMX, for living and for staying as tourists. It is the new old, has the character of both. I walked through its streets… yes, nice and clean, but what else! I stayed for 7 nights at Planco…. I like Polanco way better, more prestigious and closer to all the high-end restaurants and shopping centers, and of course the better hotels.
The only part of Condesa I was interested in was the section “The Park” where they filmed “Man on Fire” for Denzel Washington. I included some photos of that area.

Condessa is the place to stay in my opinion. It’s very close to Chapultepec Park, we walked. Condessa felt safe has pretty tree lined streets always kept clean. We stayed for a week in a high rise condo. There are many good restaurants and bars around within walking distance and it’s handy enough to catch Ubers to other sites of interest. It’s about 25 minutes from the airport and around $200-$250pesos.

I go to Mexico city for business on a regular bases. I have stopped staying in hotel but rent a apartment in La Condesa area. It is a safe and green area with lots of cosy nice restaurants and cafe for breakfast, lunch, coffee or dinner. Highly recommend to stay in this area.

We stayed here in our trip and we walked around every day (and night). Very chic, quaint neighborhood for the upper class obviously. Nice cafes, restaurants, eateries, bars, parks. Super-safe, a very good choice when in CDMX

If you are looking for a hip area full of bars and restaurants and cafes La Condesa is the place to go.
We were pleasantly surprised what it had to offer. It has a Paris feel to it. We found a gret cafe for coffe and a scone to start the morning.

We had the privilege of spending several months in CDMX. We enjoy walking around this neighborhood as it a lively yet relaxed vibe. Lots of lovely buildings, trees, and commercial establishments to admire. We also like the dog watching. There are lots of places to eat a meal or a snack. Parque Mexico and Parque Espana are nice too.
