I wish I could hide in this museum and just stay there. The sheer number of the cultures represented and their accomplishments rivals Greece and Rome in my opinion. I've been there twice and it's not enough. I was also fortunate to see a rare exhibit of the Codices, the few that weren't destroyed by the Spanish.

The building has two floors with the first floor as the primary artifact location. It is divided into several halls representing various... More

The most important prehispanic sculptures and objects are presented in this beautiful museum. There are fixed exhibits and also some temporal ones. The Price is very low and on sundays it is free.

I didn't think I was interested in anthropology but this museum has changed my mind. The structure itself is worth seeing let alone the contents. Make sure you visit.

It su h an amazing place. If at all possible do get a knowledgeable guide or one of the audio guides. There are so many interesting things to see, if you do it by yourself you will not enjoy it as much. Our previous visit was by ourselves, but this last one was just so much better with a good...
