Neat place for quick visit

Great stained glass ceilings and architecture make this the classiest pawn shop in the world. Just walk down the corridor and pop in the rooms.

they sell the jewerly the same way the they pawn it, the place has many rooms that you can explore, you can easily see the price tag on each of them without asking the attendant to show it to you, they usually have a color per day that has a discount so look for the board that has it, the... More

They are remodeling the original stores on the street level, they are all closed and inaccessible. You need to go inside and go to floor 2 to see the few stores they have open now. Not really worth visiting until they reopen the original stores.

Definitely worth a visit! located just off 5 de Mayo next to the cathedral, this building has as much history as some of the other sights around the square. And an English speaking guide took us through the building as a free service even refusing a tip. (unheard of in Mexico).

This is the national pawn shop. It's an interesting place to visit. They have several location trough out the city. In some places they have crafts for sale.
