I visited the park on a Sunday which is probably the busiest day to go.
I was relieved to find that there were easy to find public bathrooms available for the small price of $5 pesos.
I wasn’t expecting the place to be filled with vendors, sideshows and people shouting to get my attention. It had a fair-like atmosphere because of the booths selling cotton candy, face painting, snacks, and cheap toys. There were even side show comedians busking in the large areas.
The park is beautiful. The first third of the park is the most Interetesting and where all the museums are.

1695 acres of open space in Mexico City with plenty of walkways, a lake, and plenty of opportunities for souvenir hunting and there are many options to taste the local cuisine. There is also a castle and the antropologia museum within thus. The entry to the garden is free but the entry to the museum is 80 pesos.

Chapultepec is the best place to have a good time alone or in company. There is a large wooded area with trees and trails for a leisurely stroll at any time of day.
In addition to being a very clean area, you can exercise at any time of the day.
Being there it is possible to feel calm and tranquility, in addition to coming into contact with nature and even with people from different places who are going to visit the place.
Also on occasions, you can enjoy a cultural event or a sample of urban art that are presented in different places of the park.
The main attraction is the castle of Chapultepec, a striking tourist attraction for its architectural design from which you can get very good postcards, Chapultepec is undoubtedly a good place to enjoy a quiet day.

We went back to the Bosque twice, there is so much to see and do. The first day, we went to the lake, rented a paddle boat for a half hour and along with many families, went around the lake, bumping into each other. It was fun. There are so many museums, we couldn't see them all, even over 2 days. There are many vendors, but they mostly sell quick food. The museums have cafes where you can get service, although everything is slow. Each museum also has a gift shop and washrooms. Many are free on Sunday, but not all of them. Some of the museum guards are obnoxious, telling you where you can stand and not to get close, not to use flash, blah blah - they spoil the atmosphere of the museum, frankly. Spend lots of time in the Bosque and research ahead of time what parts you want to go to, as it's enormous. They say it's the largest urban park in Latin America and twice as large as Central Park.

At nearly 1700 acres, this is a huge park, filled with museums, a lake, outdoor market, playground and restaurants. There are also pay toilets for 5 pesos throughout that are kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. We were there on a Sunday and had to pass onthe museum of anthropology because it was our only day there, and a huge after church crowd was already in line waiting for it to open. Instead we went to the butterfly exhibit, to see the pandas, Casa de Lago and hiked up to Chapultapec Castle as we wandered through the park. So many things to see and do here. Make sure to give it a full day.

Lovely park with lots of walking activities if you want. I went here during the height of the pandemic when most of the vendor stalls were closed. For the life of me I wonder how vendors make a living in here because there are so many of them.
The park has a beautiful lake. Very huge area for those who like walking.

If you ever visit Mexico, this place should be on your list... It’s kind of a Central Park but in CDMX, you’ll love walking all around the park and then going to the “Castillo de Chapultepec”, which in located at the top of the hill, once in the Castillo you’ll learn a lot about Mexico during the Spanish domination, their independence and when the heroes defended the castle during American invasion... Lots of things to see, place is huge, entrance costs about US$3, kids under 13 years old, teachers and students with credentials don’t pay. Keep in mind selfie sticks are not allowed inside the castle (even the one for the go pro), so avoid an inconvenience to your self and don’t bring it.

Very large, very nice park in CDMX. Not sure how big it is, but it usually takes me 45 minutes to make a circle around the gated area. Lots of places to sit and take in the beautiful trees. Fun to check out the vendor stands. On the outer part of the park there are a lot of cute dogs to watch. Entrance is free and its close to a lot of other sites worth seeing. This is a must.

Definitely a must visit site in Mexico City. It is a wonderful and scenic park that is very clean, organized and with free Wi-Fi. The Anthropology Museum and the Castle are key attractions. There is also a lake where you can rent out boats. It is accessible via the Metro.

This place I have heard it's bigger than Central Park and walking around it feels very big. There are so many museums in the park, vendors, street food, the castle. This park can take you all day to do, there is even a small pond with paddle boating.

Is it wheelchair accessible

It's a huge park with several sections. Officially, it's wheel chair accessible and most of it probably is. However, there's lots of stone paths, steep hills, so-so ramps to negotiate, etc.
Tripavisor won't let me attach links here but if you google Bosque de Chapultepec Silla de Ruedas you'll get more info.
El Bosque de Chapultepec en la Ciudad de México es accesible para personas con discapacidad y cuenta con:
Rampas de acceso para todas las áreas del parque.
Préstamo de sillas de ruedas en el zoológico
Audioguías en zoológico.

We're planning to go here on a Sunday but it looks like rain. Will it be as active even if it is going to rain? The other option would be to go on a weekday, but I heard sundays are best
