We were looking for a place to go after dinner and heard of this place through friends - we arrived and the place was completely full - every table and chair so we thought we had no shot but a host/waiter appeared, asked us how many and said it would be one minute. 1 minute later they brought out a folding table and 8 chairs and set them down at the edge of the existing space on the sidewalk.

The waiter didn't speak English but was helpful in explaining the all-Spanish menu to us and giving us samples of mezcal options free-of-charge. We tried a number of their cocktails and they were all delicious and we felt comfortable and invited as foreigners without the place feeling like a tourist spot.

We liked it so much that the 2nd night of our trip (a Sunday) we ended up at a different location of the bar in Roma as most other places had closed before 10pm.

We had never tried Mezcal before and asked the bar tender for an introduction. He was really nice and gave us recommendation and showed us how the Mezcal best should be enjoyed.
The place is nice and good for people watching. The area Condesa is also my top choice for Mexico City.

Nice little place, some tables outside, nice Mezcal display inside. Even though the bartender didn't speak much English, he was able to recommend a variety of Mezcals to a bunch of beginners.
