Tasty Bites Food Tours offers four premium foodie experiences; our 'Top Chef Culinary Adventure', our 'Centro Histórico Bites & Sights', our 'Taste of Condesa' and our 'Mexico City Nights, Bites & Sips'. Our Centro Histórico and Taste of Condesa experiences have many food options, so be sure to let your guide know of any foods you have a particular interest in trying. All our experiences are 3+ hours in duration. If you would like a private Mexico City culinary experience, we are happy to create a customized experience for your group! Customers of a Tasty Bites Food Tour will enjoy delicious freshly prepared food and learn how it is prepared, its history, and cultural importance. Prices include all food and drink tastings. By the end of one of our experiences you will have enjoyed the equivalent of a hearty lunch. My family and I decided to do the Top Chef Culinary Adventure on our first day in Mexico City and we are so glad we did. We stayed in the La Condesa neighborhood and it was an easy walk to the meeting spot in Roma Norte. First of all, these neighborhoods are beautiful and I could walk around them all day. Robert is very informed on every aspect of these neighborhoods and Mexico City in general. On our tour he talked about the history of the city, how the neighborhoods have transformed, the current culture in the city, and beyond. And the FOOD - Robert knew everything from the ingredients to the chefs and took us to some pretty amazing places. We had 5 stops on the tour and got a great taste of everything! My family and I had no idea just how amazing the food scene in Mexico City was until we did this tour. We had some very interesting dishes that we had never had before and were so good that we went back the next day.
Robert also sent a follow-up email with all the places we had visited, as well as even more food recommendations. The food options in this city are endless.
I highly recommend this tour and will sign up for another on our return!

We did the Tasty Bites Food Tour as a group of 14 girls celebrating a bachelorette party. I loved learning more about Mexico City from our tour guides. We enjoyed great tacos and drinks along the way - especially loved the pulque! Highly recommend as a way to get to know Mexico City's food scene. Great value for how much food (tacos, churros, corn) and how many drinks (beers, mezcal, pulque, margaritas) we had!

What a great day, Condeza food taco tour was so much fun. Very colorful neighborhood, excellent food and TONS of it. A little too long, too much food. The black corn quesadilla was the only odd thing (I read later this is rotten corn ew). I always want more history, try to round up more facts if possible about the neighborhood.

When we first arrived in Mexico city we were weary about going out and eating lots of street food. We have traveled to over 15 countries and still got a little worried. Taking the Tasty Bites food tour was the best idea we have ever had. They tell you so much history and fact and not only the city and people but all the best locations in the city. We absolutely Loved this tour and Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

This tour was one of our highlights of Mexico City! It was a a great way for us to learn about food of Mexico and try places we might have passed over. It has been over a year since I took this tour and I still remember it like it was yesterday. It was truly a highlight of my Mexico City experience. I have since been on other food tours in other countries and this particular tour was by far the best that I have ever been on, so much so, that we are still talking about the tour. Every aspect of the tour was perfection. I literally want to come back to MDX so that I can take the tour again! My traveling partner and I were just saying today that "maybe we should return to Mexico City to go on the food tour once again" that's how good it is. I will say the food was delicious, but so was the cocktail at the small modern bar that we went to. I hardly ever drink, and my traveling partner doesn't drink at all, so I landed up downing both of the very strong delicious cocktails myself. They were unusual and came with a sweet black sesame seed garnish. I think this was our last stop on the tour and I arrived home quite tipsy and had to take a long nap. I can't recommend this tour highly enough, truly fabulous. Thanks so very much, Susan

The tour was informative, fun, and delicious. Rob, our guide, was knowledgeable about the history of the area, and took us to some great restaurants. The quality of the food and drink was excellent, and there wasn't a single place that was close to mediocre. The cocktails and ceviche at Meroma were particularly good.

My husband and I spent a wonderful afternoon with Rob and Micheal from TastyBites. Our five stops included delicious food and drinks as well as different environments to experience the food. We enjoyed the cultural and historical context, especially the traditions that influence the chefs and their choices. Rob and Micheal are knowledgeable about food and Mexico, and very pleasant to spend time with. I recommend this tour as an enjoyable, tasty, and informative way to spend an afternoon.

My sister & I attended the Culinary Adventure food tour & really enjoyed our day with Victor. I love food tours because you can explore without having to worry, and he did a great job of translating, explaining what we were eating and discussing cultural norms of Mexico City. The portions were good sizes too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tasty afternoon
