Loved the ride up and down and remember to buy tickets before getting in line. The views of the city are totally amazing and enjoyable. Please be aware that there are about 300 steps when the car docks and not a handhold anywhere. Very inexpensive...More

Our B&B was at the top of the hill so we ended up taking 4 round trips on it. It sure beats walking. The car holds generally 10-12 people although it says it can take up to 14. The are great views of the city...More

I enjoyed the climb and the views are spectacular...Be sure to buy ticket at window before getting in line! There was a worker building stairs on Side so extra entertainment that day.

This is an easy way to get up to La Pipila and the view of the city. The cab operators also add tourist tips and some history for Spanish speakers.

Definitely do this if you're in Guanajuato. The short ride takes you to the pipila monument. Great city views and an unmisible "selfie "opportuniy. Also it's great fun to walk back down the stairs and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the town

Amazing views, maybe a few too many vendors up top, but hey, they have to live. Well worth the trip!

If this is your first time in Guanajuato, or even you second or third, this is such a great view. The monument to La Pipila is infinitely missable, but that is just my opinion.

This funicular will take you to the Pipila Monument which honors a hero of the Mexican independence. The view is spectacular but it can get pretty crowded up there during the holidays and the queue for the funicular can take up to 25 minutes. I...More
