Frida did a great job of introducing us us to her city. She has great pride in all that Guanajuato has to offer and her pride is justified. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her getting to know some of the delicious street food and touching on some of the highlights of this city. My favorite? The tlacoyos and the Bailey's ice cream. A must do!

Did the tacos and bars tour with John and it was great. I think any of the tours they do would also be great but I wouldnt gave known to go to the places John took us to or ordered the things he ordered for us. Definitely recommended while in GTO.

El mejor! Definitely recommend John, he showed us the secret and magical places in Guanajuato, learned from the culture, plus the best street food in town. If you want to have fun, learn something new, and eat the best food in town, we definitely recommend John as your tour guide!

Awesome history and food walking tour! I highly recommend to do this the first or second day you are in GTO... it really makes the rest of the trip more enjoyable when you know where to eat, and you have a good lay of the land!

Without a doubt a must do if this is your first time in Guanajuato. We went for Dia De Los Muertos. Our guide Dante was knowledgeable of both the culinary history of the city but also the colonial history of the city. Most of our group only spoke English so being able to have our guide clearly explain everything to us in English was an absolute lifesaver. We had a bunch questions for Dante ranging from food to infrastructure of the city and he was able to answer every one of them, super impressive!!! The tour made the rest of our time in Guanajuato special because all the plazas and food vendors had a rich history to them. Travelling during COVID didn't put a damper on things because I still felt we were able to experience the best parts of the city including going to El Pipilla and Mercado Hidalgo. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. You'll be walking around the city for roughly 3.5 hours so make sure you prepare with good shoes. And don't eat breakfast before you go or you'll explode!!!!
