We spent 3 days in Guanajuato. Since my parents and in-laws had been to Guanajuato many times before I wanted to provide them with a different experience so I booked the tour on the same day (I was hoping to go on the daytime eating tour but it was booked until the following week). I had my two daughters with me as well, 14 and 8, and since I saw that kids were half price I purchased a ticket for them as well online. Since this was an option I thought this was a "thing", but as it turned out we were the first group that brought kids to the night tour (parents of the year, I know!). Regardless, our tour guide John from Colorado was super accommodating and took us to places where he felt there would be a bit more space and where the kids could go. I don't know what the experience is typically like but me and my wife loved it, my kids had a good time, and my parents and in-laws got to see a side of Guanajuato that they hadn't seen before.

Without a doubt a must do if this is your first time in Guanajuato. We went for Dia De Los Muertos. Our guide Dante was knowledgeable of both the culinary history of the city but also the colonial history of the city. Most of our group only spoke English so being able to have our guide clearly explain everything to us in English was an absolute lifesaver. We had a bunch questions for Dante ranging from food to infrastructure of the city and he was able to answer every one of them, super impressive!!!

The tour made the rest of our time in Guanajuato special because all the plazas and food vendors had a rich history to them. Travelling during COVID didn't put a damper on things because I still felt we were able to experience the best parts of the city including going to El Pipilla and Mercado Hidalgo. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. You'll be walking around the city for roughly 3.5 hours so make sure you prepare with good shoes. And don't eat breakfast before you go or you'll explode!!!!

We had heard about this tour before coming to Guanajuato and went the first morning we were there. First of all you really should take this tour and secondly don't eat breakfast before you do! Laura was our guide and she was delightful. She took us all over Gto and we sample so many wonderful foods. She also pointed out a few other places we had heard about so we could visit them later. We went back to several of the places the following days and they were so delicious and fun. Our tour lasted longer than it was supposed to and she never made us feel rushed. She was patient with our questions and also gave us great info, history and stories of the area. I really can't say enough great things about this tour and if you love street food like we do its the best way to get to know the city.

We loved this tour! We booked it for our first day in Guanajuato and would highly recommend others do the same. Our guide John gave us a fantastic overview of the city, both in terms of history and things we could do for the rest of our stay. Additionally, we tried a wide variety of different foods and left the tour more than full :D. This tour was a delicious, fun, easy way to explore the city from a variety of different angles. Thank you John!

My tour guide was Frida, who is native to the region and studied tourism at Univ. GTO. Frida explained the highlights of the city's history, and she introduced me to some of the cities most incredible foods, landmarks, and architecture. Bring an appetite, because is it hard to not eat everything! I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a first timer here, as it helps become more familiar and comfortable walking around. Frida is also great!

Frida did a great job of introducing us us to her city. She has great pride in all that Guanajuato has to offer and her pride is justified. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her getting to know some of the delicious street food and touching on some of the highlights of this city. My favorite? The tlacoyos and the Bailey's ice cream. A must do!

This tour is a delight. You get to taste all of Guanajuato's best, real-deal street food with knowledgable and experienced guides AND learn about the city & region's history while seeing virtually the entire centro. John & Aurora could not have been better guides for this experience. Our group tried bakery treats, fresh-squeezed fruit juice, gorditas, tamales, chocolates, carnitas, & sorbets. Great experience, worth every peso!

This was a wonderful experience, John walked us through the city where we tasted street food and explored sites. The food was wonderful and my 6 and 9 year old enjoyed it all, including the history we learned along the way. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting, and do it shortly after you arrive as John will tell you additional places to explore in an around Guanajuato city.

Our tour guide was John and he did an amazing job at explaining Mexico's history along with providing us with great food along the way. It was a very informative overview of the city of Guanajuato and we covered a large amount of the city on this tour. I would definitely recommend doing this tour on your first day. John took us to the cities must-see sites and so many others that we would not have found on our own. This was my favorite tour from my trip to Guanajuato. Thank you John for sharing your knowledge of the city and for your recommendations!

Such an amazing introduction to an already amazing city. Highly recommended. John is straight forward, down to earth, and with an abundance of history and knowledge as to Guanajuato and all it has to offer. From pan dulce, gorditas, tacos, tamales, to helado, you taste it all. John provides a tour that virtually spans from one end of the city to the other, view from the pipila included. In a nutshell, you see and taste it all. Muchas gracias a John
