Beautiful place and grandiose building! Unfortunately due to the Covid pandemic it is closed for the public. The place is very busy at evening: musicians, mariachis, theatre workers and all kind of vendeurs.

After being closed for almost six months the Juarez is open again. Make sure to take in a performance when visiting Guanajuato and soak up the luxury from another era - very little has changed in over 100 years.

This is one exceptionally beautiful building. With a classical exterior and art deco interior, it is simply exquisite. The theater itself is stunningly gorgeous.
