I went to the museum today. The museum has a tour guide that gives you a in-depth explanation of all the bodies there. There is no English translation so you have to speak Spanish to the get most of the tour. The museum is up on the hill so you have to take your car to get there and the Area is not the nicest. Just FYI you’re not allowed to take pictures

A total tourist trap, not worth the admission....don't waste your time. Signage is poor. Information offered is sparse. All the guides are shilling for a tip. Really not worth it.

Had to visit again after visiting years ago. The new facility is much nicer and doesn't smell like it used to. These bodies are mummified but not in the Egyptian way. This was not intentional but a byproduct of the soil and climate they were buried in. The skin still hangs on them paper thin. Such a unique sight to see.

This was my second time there. Interesting exhibit. Highly recommend it. Skip the Torture Museum. It was like a cheap Haunted House. Try to go midweek.

It’s a pretty neat museum. Couldn’t help but feel some of it was disrespectful. Definitely creepy. Worth the $80 or so pesos we each paid to walk through.
