“bad luck”(11 reviews)
This picturesque alley is so named because it is narrow enough for two lovers to kiss from opposite sides of the street.

Two balconies so close together you could kiss is the stuff of legends. Tour guides try to latch onto you at the entrance to the narrow alley, almost trapping you. Enter through a store crowded with tourist items and go up a narrow circular staircase...More

Worth seeing in a tour, or for couples on a date. Legend is as sad of a story as Romeo and Juliet. Oh well

This most famous of more than 3000 alleyways in this city is a tragic-romantic love story which has evolved into one of the attractions you can visit. If you do the "callejoneada" (fun evening attraction offered by university students), you end up here. By day,...More

Neat story or "history" of a part of Guanajuato. Let a "local" guide tell you the story and step (yes, pun) up and get your kiss. I'd suggest do this during the week as the weekends have a LOOOONG line.

Walking down from the vista we squeezed through the alley and got to see couples kissing from one balcony across to the other!

This surely isn’t Italy, but it’s a fun and convenient stop along the walking path in Guanajuato. Sweet little photo op.

Get someone to tell you the story of the star-crossed lovers akin to Romeo and Juliette, not ending so well for them. Narrow alley, stairs, kiss and go

Nothing much wait in line for your turn to do the little package or head straight in, Into the shop to the right of the alleyway. There is a staircase to the left. Go up, to leave they will advise to take another staircase... More
