Mi esposa esta un big fan of Diego and Frida. Every time we go to Mexico we hunt them down. Imagine how I had to console her when we discovered that the national palace in Mexico city, with Diego's most famoso murales was closed to...More

W have always been a fan of Diego Ribera and were happy to be in Guanajuato and able to visit the home and museum. The home is OK, with some furnishings which may or may not have been part of the original home. We preferred...More

An interesting collection of the works of Diego Rivera. As you observe his work, check out the way he signs his artwork and see if you can notice any differences? This stop in Guanajuato is recommended. After you visit the museum, check out his statue...More

I knew he probably came from money, but I was not expecting his family home to be the entire city block, and 4-5 stories tall. Well worth the admission to get a look at this fascinating house.

This is a good museum with many works of Rivera, thwere are alaso less interesting exhibits by contemporary artists, my only gripe is that one may not take photos of Rivera's pieces.

This is small but very interesting. Although the residents didn't like to admit it, the great muralist lived here at the beginning of his life-before Freda and Communism. The museum features a copy of the rooms of his home , several of his lesser known...More

If you want to see more in an hour or even less, his museum is a good place to visit. The museum is very small and there are only a few painting but the mural itself is overwhelming and worth to visit.
