Don't confuse with the Jose Cuervo tequila tour by train. That one was difficult to book online, so we went with tequila express. Kinda wanted the train, but they are restoring it so we went by coach bus. We meet at the centro de commercio at 930 they register, drink coffee and the mariachi plays for a good 40 minutes... More

A complete experience to taste México through its food, its landscape, its history and of course, its Tequila. The train by José Cuervo Express leaves Guadalajara on Saturday mornings and takes you to the Magical Town of Tequila, where the passengers will be able to know the elaboration of Tequila in the oldest distillery of Tequila in México, La Rojeña;... This was a day trip with work colleagues while travelling on business. I thought it was just an excuse to drink tequila for the day. While there was plenty of drink on offer - this was much more than that. It was a really great day with loads of information on Tequila - how it is made - different types... More

My husband and I had the time of our life. Service excellent. Open bar. Mariachi on train. The tour and the lunch at the distillery was amazing. Fun the whole day. Recommend this trip.

This is an all day type excursion from Guadalajara to Tequila, with a three hour or so train ride each way. Bring a good group of friends, an appetite for tequila, and the staff on board will make the trip amazing. They have a specific team that caters to English speakers, which was a plus.

Our family (adults) went on the Tequila Express last week. I had gone before many years ago and wanted to update my review on this trip. We were in the 07 wagon of the trip - which is the "elite" wagon. 6 of us cost $8,000 pesos for the tickets. It included the tasting in the train of the three... More

Train leaves central station at 10 am Saturday for the 2 hour trip to the tequilieria in the town of Tequila, the train moves slowly through the City of GDL and then the Mexican countryside where the agave fields stretch for miles. Arrive and everyone is bused to the distillery for a tour (about 1 1/2 hours) of the entire... More

Disclaimer: I'm Mexican, don't drink tequila and love Mariachi We took the new bus service which is being offered given that the train is being refurbished. Overall I'd say it was a fun tour, very nicely organized, very nice service, tons of drinks and great food. My only suggestion would be regarding the last part of the day, where people... More
