Don't miss this one, it has it all: gothic/baroque exterior with detailed spire, ornately carved doors, huge columns and soaring ceilings, lovely stained glass and marble Pieta. Sit in the plaza, hand made souvenirs and fresh fruit drink sales. At a few minutes before each hour a small door in the bell tower opens and mechanical dolls - the Apostles -... More

This is a very impressive temple. Still very much used, it has a unique set of strain glad windows in the spire. Beautiful both inside and outside it is well worth a short visit both inside the church and into the grave yard in the basement of the attached building.

Wow! What an incredible site! A must see...while in Guadalajara this temple is even more spectacular at night. An architectural masterpiece! The craftsmanship is just lovely.

Absolutely beautiful church. Like all such cathedrals it's an architectural wonder. When the sunlight light is bright the colors are beautiful as they are cast from the enormous stained glass windows.

This building seems to get lost in its surroundings.. if it were in any other country in the world it would be called a masterpiece! The glass work along is deserving of the highest honors. The structure was build such that "we" were to feel small in the eyes of God. If you stand in the centre of the highest... More

While the cathedral in the city square is magnificent, the architectural beauty of this church is simply marvelous. It is a classical gothic structure and is a must see!

Its one of the top attractions in Guadalajara and the temple itself is a work of art inside and out. Regardless if youre religious or not. A visit to the Expiatory temple is a must. Its large enough that you never feel crowded and its not frequented by bus loads of tourists. Nice spot to see mexicans go about their... More

Just wow. Exterior and interior is impressive. A lot of activity around. Locals and travellers. Little markets in the courtyard. Worth checking out. Sunday's during the morning or early afternoon is ideal.

Close from south USA this Gothic temple has amazing hand crafted limestone walls, columns and ceilings. This is a Great place for ingeniers and architects interested in the old construction technics.

This is by far the most amazing church in Guadalajara. You can spend hours just gazing at the stain-glass, also don't miss the apostles clock, every hour on the hour.
