Must visit Japanese Garden portion! My daughter took her Quincenera pictures there! Every single area of the park is picture worthy! Plenty of places to sit down in the shade. Loved it!

I just didn't know there are pillar men in Zapopan, must inform Jose Jose (Mexican JoJo) about it. All jokes aside its a nice relaxing point right in the middle of such a stressful/polluted city.

Forest park with various types of trails, from asphalt to dirt track. Exercise equipment in some areas, horse riding opportunities (mostly for kids I think), drinking water fountains and some stalls to buy snacks and drinks. Tame squirrels looking for food will find you :)

I love going there for a morning run in the weekends, the natural juices outside the "Chaco II" entrance are the best!

Fantastic park in the middle of Mexico City. Great museums, expansive wooded areas, lakes, hiking/biking paths, food courts, botanic gardens. Great place to get away from the traffic and congestion of the city.

Walk around or ride horses. Relatively inexpensive and a nice break from the 4 million people around you in Zappopan, and Guadalajara. Pony rides 70 pesos for 30 minutes. About $3.50 USD

The bosque is extensive and lush. There are lovely sculptures scattered throughout the park and excellent walking trails. The jewel of the park is the Japanese garden, a gift from the people of Kyoto. We were there during a scout jamboree, so it was a...More
