Well, I've been to several countries all over the world and I can easily say that this is one of most beautiful and enchanting city buildings i've ever seen. So so beautiful, specially at night, just don't miss it.

A very small museum of the UofG which house a few amazing murals "MURALES DE JOSÉ CLEMENTE OROZCO Paraninfo Exposición permanente". The murals are gorgeous.

This is a stunning historic building by day and even more stunning as illuminated in the evening. It's an airy, light, spacious free musuem with a magnificent concert hall the cieling of which is painted by the renowned muralist José Clemente Orozco.

How fabulous to see the role that a great University can play in an important city like Guadalajara. So much centre around the university and the 31st film festival returned to its original home and visitors get a chance to witness the impact this educational institution has had and is having....very inspiring!

You'll never believe you're looking at a university. The building is beautiful by day and night, and the environs are nice too. The square outside the enormous church adjacent to the university building (Templo Expiatorio) is a a center of activity after dark. Families and tourists and business people are having street-cooked food and enjoying the evening.

it has been turned into an art and culture museum, free to the public and with exceptional collections. the collections change so you may find something different every few weeks or so. Overall it was one of the most rewarding visits I had in GDL.

Beautiful building and after checking out the art collections inside, it's a great place to start a nice long walk toward the very center of Guadalajara with much to see (little parks, many cafes, interesting architecture) along the way. Have your taxi drop you here, then walk roughly eastward toward the center. I will be back to this museum for... More

All around, a nice facility. There is a small auditorium for lectures (check out the ceiling). The exhibit galleries are spacious and well lit. I think most if not all exhibitions and shows are free to the public. Regardless, it seems like an underutilized facility.
