When I first visited Agua Azul four years ago, the fountains were filled with water. This is not true today. There is no water. The pretty little bridges no longer cross over water. The cages of animals are ho-hum. It is a pretty park to wander through and it's a nice place to curl up with a good book.

We went to this beautiful park every day, my boyfriend lives in Guadalajara and this is his absolute favorite spot to hang out for the day. Sundays there is a tiangis right in front of it .Great horchatas! The park has beautiful flowers, palm trees, picnic areas, parrots to view and children activities. There is also a concert area in... Some comments mention that the park is dirty, but we did not see any garbage, and the only dirt/soil that we saw was only around the trees. The aviary to our relief did not have too many birds, we don’t believe in caging these beautiful creatures. The butterfly exhibit is well kept, and our 5 year old loved her visit... More

This is a pleasant park south of the city center. The last time we were there there were more butterflies outside the butterfly pavilion than inside, and there weren't many birds in the bird house, but both were still nice to visit. The paleontology museum is quite interesting with a nearly complete mastodon skeleton and exhibits on the geologic history... More

Guadalajara is a city of parks, of fountains of trees and roses. This park like so many others is part of the "luings of the city" allowing everyone to breathe fresh air every day.

The best part is the butterfly aviary...but the park has lots of other outstanding features...but a park is a park...and that is what it is.

We went here to experience the Tianguis Cultural (Cultural market) on a Saturday and believe me it was anything but cultural. It was full of low-rent stalls selling cheap tat, the sort of rubbish you can find anywhere in Mexico in any of the dirty markets in the dirty barrios. As we arrived the taxi driver said "Take care with... More

Parque Agua Azul is located almost downtown Guadalajara. It is the park that the majority of the tapatios - who do not have the luxury of big green areas in their neighborhood - go to enjoy the open spaces. There is always something going on - concerts, presentations. It is " real Mexico" - a place to visit on a... More
