This was one of very few tours we took while visiting Guadalajara. Happy that we did... They do have tour guides that speak English. This was a very interesting place and glad we visited it. There is not much around it and definitely recommend taking a cab there as the streets we walked were often narrow, busy with cars and... More

This is a very old cemetery, with a great deal of local folklore and legends. There are day guided tours to appreciate the historic value and architecture, and night tours that deal more into the unexplained and the spooky stories. Both are recommended.

This historic cemetery is so amazing. The late night tour was very cool, and the thunderstorm made it even more fun!

Very well mantained 19th century graveyard, it is an example of that period graveyards, today is not in use.

Our local friends took us to do the night tour of the Pantheon. It costs $68 pesos. The cemetery is beautiful and it has a very interesting Masonic history. There are also some cool myths and legends about the place. Unfortunately you can't take photos on the night tour and our guide was quite strict. It was in Spanish and... More

Consider it you speak Spanish or have someone to translate for you. So much history and legends. The tour was nearly 2h and NO photos allowed.

We took the tour at night to add a little extra spookiness to our visit but now wish we had taken the day tour instead. Our guide was excellent at relaying the stories but like other reviewers mention the tour is only available in Spanish. This was a bummer since we had an English only speaking guest with us, we... Is very interesting to walk at night in the cemetery with a group of people hearing stories about what happened there. The sculptures are just fascinating.

DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS TO FIND THE CEMETERY. I just left Guadalajara today and am currently on my way home. Two days ago I decided to walk to the cemetery (maps told me it was a 2 hour walk but I was up for that). Everything was fine until I got really close to the destination and then nothing... More

This could have been a cool place to visit, but you have to take part in a tour to see the cemetery, you can't just wander. The tours are only in Spanish, so if you are an English speaker it can be quite boring. The tours are an hour long and start at the hour. The hours are a little... More
