About Tequila Tours
A magical town, where we will observe and experience the history of our national drink, Tequila. On our way we will be able to observe the fields full of agave plants. Here will visit Mundo Cuervo where we will be able to observe in the exhibit room different textiles, ceramics, silver, etc. We will tour through Mexico's biggest and oldest distillery, La Rojo de Jose Cuervo.

My wife and I took an artisanal tequila tour with Giancarlo. He was extremely knowledgeable and articulate. We covered tequila production with a tour and detailed tastings, and also visited agave fields and discussed its cultivation. Altogether it was a great introduction to this fascinating spirit. He also took us to eat at two small family run restaurants - delicious! I heartily recommend this tour for anyone who really wants to learn about tequila.

After a couple of drinks, we went to some entertainment and shopping for gifts. They have a nice selection of gifts a little bit pricey but good quality.

Do not purchase the Tequila on the Tequila Tours! We visited the Tequilery Reyes facility and were completely disappointed when we got home. The Tequila was overpriced and watered down. The bottle is wrapped and packaged before you purchase it. It smells like alcohol but it is actually water. It says 38% alcohol but that’s a lie. We paid $100 for a bottle of brown water. Here are a few pics of our tour.

Great place to visit when in Mexico and learn how tequila is made by the olds tequila distillaries in the region.
