I can't speak more highly of this school, the staff, the facility, the care they show. I stayed two weeks and wished I'd stayed longer. My family was awesome; their home very nice and welcoming; the food they served was amazing. Before I arrived in Mexico, I had some fears about safety. But after one day, I was very comfortable... I spent a month at the school, and it was fabulous. Everyone is so nice, and they really cares about their students. If any problems are encountered, they are quick to resolve them. My teacher was Francisco, and he was wonderful, going far beyond any reasonable expectations. The homestay was great, and I met a lot of fun and interesting... More

My family highly recommends an extended stay at ASLI to learn or further one's Espanol. My children and I have benefitted greatly from several cultural and language immersions, not to mention the fun and enduring friendships made. I highly recommend the home stays! And now ASLI is offering Skype lessons with the same great professoras.... Perfect for anyone who can't... More

If you want an experience to further your ability with the Spanish language, this is your destination. You live with a family for more conversation. The classes and teachers are excellent. There is a real effort to provide you with just the type of experience that will further your ability. Be in conversation and grammar classes. And excursion opportunities are... More

I am going to update and re-post my first review for this wonderful school because it is so many pages back on this site (from 2011), it is unlikely readers are getting to it any more. Readers apparently found it helpful, so here goes: I have now studied at SLI for a total of 13 weeks over the course of... More

This school takes care of everything for you, is reasonably priced and offers exceptional talented professors. They picked me up at the airport, housed me with an incredibly warm and generous family and even arranged for private tennis lessons for me in the afternoon. I was there two weeks and discovered a school and a city that was extremely welcoming... More

A sensational school, with amazing professional organized teachers, flexibility of programs, , positive learning environment, personal attention to your needs, and an immersion program with families who have been carefully screened. After three years of Spanish, decades ago, I spent two weeks at ASLI. It was amazing how fast my teachers were able to plug into my previous knowledge and... More

I spent a month at ASLI in June this year and enjoyed every bit of my time there. Registration was easy, the school is very well organized and the instructors are very skilled. This was the first leg of a three-month trip around Latin America and I am grateful for how much Spanish I learned having not taken any formal... More

3 hours of class in the morning. 3 hours of class in the afternoon. Different teacher for am and pm so you stay very fresh. Incredibly affordable. So much cheaper than any Spanish lessons or school you could find in the USA. I was here for 2.5 weeks and learned a ton. The teachers were very experienced and worked with... More
