The town of Bernal located below this the worlds #2 largest rock is also a charming remnant of Old Mexico. There are trails as well as horseback and Jeep options to sightsee the region.

Bernal was beautiful. The architecture of the city was impressive. We just stayed for a night but the next weekend trip is already planed!

This is a Must visit location when in Queretaro or even Mexico City. The town is lovely and full of great shops with plenty of minerals from all the mines in the region. The monolith is breath taking and one of the largest in the world! Trust me on this one, you'll love it.

We visited a charming little town about three hours drive from Mexico City. To see the highest cliff in the world, 2000 meters away. Since we were there in the middle of the week, the activity is very low. You can visit the area on Saturdays and Sundays. So there is great activity in the area ..

I went to Peña de Bernal last year is a very nice town where you can find many things like typical food of the area, crafts, etc.
The main attraction is to climb the big rock, although it is a bit more complicated if you do not tolerate the heights although it is a very pleasant experience that you should experience if you go there.
the only drawback is the heat there almost always the heat is at its maximum if you go you must wear comfortable clothes and drinks to hydrate.
When I went everything was very quiet from the trip until there until my stay that was only one day because after that there is not much to do. I really recommend this place to distract you one day and leave the routine a very beautiful place.

A nice-small town with several restaurants of gorditas and micheladas. You van walk from the Peña to the center of the town in 10 to 15 min. A good visit if you are around.

The family had a bunch of fun, the kids enjoyed the hiking. We waited for the fountain dance at night it was cute. The food is really good and the prices were really affordable. I will definitely go back indeed this is a magical place. Very safe

The mountain is really amazing on itself, but next to it there's this gorgeous ancient town, filled with little shops, friendly people and delicious food! You can't miss this or the mountain!

Hola,
Saludos.
