I loved the place since it is an unforgettable experience, arriving is a spectacular view but the closer you get the view is more beautiful, its surroundings are very beautiful with its landscapes and its cabins to spend the night, its inhabitants are very friendly with the who come to visit the volcano. I recommend that you go to visit since you will never forget the experiences you live there, an experience that I will not forget was the motorcycle ride since with the company of relatives we climbed to the limit that they would let us climb. My family and I will never forget this trip since we will not know what day we will return.

We have seen the vulcano Popocatepetl several times. Firstly on the way with the bus to and from the ruinas of Teotihuacan. Second time when we were flying from the Mexico City to Cancun. Third time on our way with the bus from the Mexico City to Puebla. And the last time we have seen it from the aircraft when travelled from Villahermosa to Mexico city. We circulated around the town around 30 minutes and we have seen the vulcano Popocatepetl several times from very near distance. Impressive ! Beautiful !

Popocatepetl Volcano Trip was awesome, it is also known As smoking mountain, although surrounded cities were hot but once we reach near the volcano it is getting colder and colder and finally we reach at the top, @ the heights where tourists are allowed. It was very cold and beautiful. You can see ash and smoke coming out of volcano. Enjoy rental quad bike, explore the forest and could find rare creatures. I found baby rattle snake.
While coming back you can drop down at any road side restaurant and enjoy different dishes of wild rabbits.

The world's most notable volcano is really something special.
You would normally visit the site on your way to Puebla and Cuernavaca if you book one of the daily tours they offerfrom Mexico City and Puebla. A daily tour from Mexico City costs about 900 pesos and it can be booked at your hotel or any hotel.
You get to Puebla from Mexico City airport with Estrella Roja. That is pretty much the only way when it comes to public transportation.

We tried to get closer then the view you get from Cholula. But finding a tour operator in Puebla seems quit impossible.
The best way is to rent a car. We didn't had the time for that so we had to stick with the views from Cholula. And that was super impressive as well.
