Had friends who were steered to this captain on TA and they proudly returned with what they had been told was black tuna. But it was Barrilete which is used as a bait fish, or at best in tiritas. But they were not fishermen and enjoyed the day on the bay.

Totally fun! I booked mostly over email with a very pleasant and flexible gal, Carol. The snorkling was fabulous. Our boat captain didn't speak much English but that didn't matter. Go get a little out of your comfort zone, it's worth it!

Our large group (14) had a great time in both boats, pleasant crew, wonderful snorkeling, and a fun time hanging out at the beach restaurant afterward. Recommended.

My adult son and I did an inshore fishing trip. We caught 6 Bonita and 1 Mackerel. Tomas was our captain and he did a really nice job. Our only complaint is that we think the trip could have been an hour shorter. The last hour dragged on and we did not catch any fish in the last 1.5 hours.... More

Julio wasn't very engaging and didn't talk to us much, although we tried many times to converse with him. Didn't make an effort to change the lures although did take us to several different locations. One positive of the day was Franco at the beachside restaurant.

We met Julio right on time, and he sent us out with guide Tomas and his young assistant. The fishing was slow, but we did get four small tuna. We pulled over to snorkel in a small cove just before lunch, and it was fun. My daughter really enjoyed it, and the equipment was in good condition. It was WONDERFUL... More

Went out with my family on the fishing/snorkelling tour and I'm going to have to agree with the other poor reviews. Julio and his crew mate made no attempts to interact or converse with us, and when we tried to strike up a conversation we received very little in response. We had one bite(on the lines) the entire time, though... More

We would like to thank Julio's Tours for another trip well worth taking! This was our second trip with Julio and for the second time we brought in a couple of very nice fish, a 7 ft sail fish, and a yellow fin tuna, over all a very good day! We need to send a big thank you to Julio's... More
