This is a lovely beach. Water is warm, restaurants on either end, water sports like parasailing, etc. and massages for reasonable prices.

Pulled up a palapa at La Perla restaurant. My wife and I enjoyed cerveza, food and beach activity for hours. Our bill at Perla was $56C!

Excellent food but the waiter wasn't friendly. Because we were in low season it was very quiet but we liked that about it.

We visited in the low season and enjoyed walking the virtually empty, wide strand of beach. Not nearly as crowded as Playa las Gatas. We parked at La Perla restaurant, rented chairs and an umbrella there, (7$usd) and enjoyed the water and walking the sand....More

First time we went, we went alone and enjoyed it so much we brought back the family. Make sure to try a couple of restaurants off the beach for a drink and some good seafood.

Great view and the sounds of the waves. Great beach and quiet right now in August. The restaurant is quiet and peaceful.

In the past we had been going to Xtapa and this time decided to go back to Zihuatanejo, which we really had not visited for at least 20 years. This beach is wonderful! Great walks, secluded and clean.

Have to see to believe. The water and views are spectacular. Will be back for a 5th visit. Bucket list worthy.

Beach right in front of the bay entrance. Long sandy beach always clean, without shells. Beach lined with coconut trees, hotels are nien integrated into the vegetation, the sea is always at the right temperature without waves.

We walked every day to Playa la Ropa. You walk on the road in front of the hotel. There’s a steep driveway up, then along the sidewalk for 5 minutes, then down a steep but paved road. Takes you right to the beach La Ropa. If... More
