Puerto Vallarta Cruise and Candlelight Dinner Show

Get out on the water of Banderas Bay to watch the sunset on this evening cruise from Puerto Vallarta. Rather than wandering the city streets to pick a restaurant or bar, have your entire evening planned. Enjoy the spectacular views (and open bar) on the way to Las Caletas, then savor a 3-course dinner and watch a memorable cultural show featuring dance and music.

What a wonderful time had with Rosie. Decided on a cooking class to get a real taste of Jalisco. So glad we did. Rosie was WONDERFUL. She picked us up and took us through the local produce/fish market to pick out our ingredients for the day (we decided on chile rellenos). Everything so fresh. Certainly enhances the flavors. Then on to Rosie's house which was decorated beautifully and set up so well for our cooking experience. She showed us how to make salsa, guacamole, fry our own tortillas, and, of course, the rellenos. Then got to eat it all. I'm not really a "foodie" but can confirm that it was all delicious. But the best part of it was spending the morning with Rosie and her family. It was just a joy to be around them and hear the family history. The best thing we did in Puerta Vallarta.

If you can, you should definitely do this while in PV. We had such a great time and the food was amazing. I plan on doing it again on my next visit to PV. Rosie is a gem and really knows her stuff.

Took a cooking class in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Great experience. Rosie takes you through the local market to buy food that we cooked. Really interesting, lots of unfamiliar fruits and veges. Rosie does a lot of the cooking but you help out. She cooks at her house. Her husband, daughter, and mother help out. Very friendly. Food delicious, especially the flan. Rosiescooking.com for more information. Her husband can also be hired to drive you around for individual tours. Lovely people.

My husband and I took Rosie's class on a recent trip to Puerto Vallarta - what a great decision. We have spent a lot of time in Mexico, and I speak Spanish, but following Rosie through the mercado to select ingredients and being able to ask any question I wanted was great! We were welcomed into her home where we prepared our feast. Everything was clean and well thought out. The food was delicious, as was the tequila tasting after cooking. A great activity regardless of your level of cooking expertise.

The four of us had absolutely the best time with Rosie. The walk-through of the market was interesting, educational, and surprising. Rosies home was absolutely beautiful and her family was welcoming. And the food… The food she helped us cook, the meal that we were able to make, and the incredible flan at the end was worth the entire trip to Puerto Vallarta. We can’t thank Rosie enough!
