Alberto´s Jewelry Designs is a jewelry family tradition for almost fifty years, creating unique and original jewelry designs in silver and gold, with precious and semiprecious stones through a process of lost wax. In Puerto Vallarta, Alberto’s Jewelry Designs has an excellent reputation thanks to the work that its founder, Roberto Ballesteros, has done for many years. I discovered Albertos in early 2020 and purchased #12 of their 50th year anniversary pieces. I decided then an there to come back to PV in 2021 and have them set my wedding diamonds into something more contemporary. It was an act of faith and trust and I was so nervous! I wasn’t disappointed,, my ring is stunning! Emerson understood perfectly what I wanted . Please check them out! A wonderful family owned business.

Alberto’s Jewelry is the best place in PV to seek out that special piece of jewelry whether it is something that is already made and on display or a custom piece. The father, Emerson and Edson are all amazing designers and the quality of their jewelry will impress for sure. A must see while in PV. I have purchased many pieces from Alberto’s over the years and each piece is special to me and I take pride in wearing them.

I've been a fan of Alberto's Jewelry for several years. I think due to popularity items are PRICEY!!!!! My girlfriend had a bracelet and ring made during our stay. Unfortunately the bracelet latch didn't catch properly. Sent an email with no reply to date. Very Disappointing.

I have been coming to PVR for many years and discovered this wonderful family owned jewelry store about 10 years ago. Haime and his sons, Emerson and Edson, learned their skill in jewelry making from Haime's father, who started this business in 1970. I have many unique and one of a kind pieces that I have purchased over the years, and I love and cherish each and every one of them. I am always so proud to wear the pieces of jewelry I have purchased from Albertos. I have many friends who share my same experience. I now have a condo in PVR and each time my friends come to visit, one of the first places we head to is Albertos. Emerson is truly an artist, as well as his dad and brother, and if you don't find something you like, he will help to design that special piece for you. Please stop in and meet this talented and friendly family and browse at their beautiful jewelry.

I purchased a stunning sterling silver & turquoise necklace at a jewelry shop in Puerto Vallarta back in 1980 after a stay at Club Med. I could not remember the name of the artist that had made it. Imagine my surprise when I found the shop during our stay Jan 2018! It was Alberto's @ 216 Basilio Badillo. I recognized his creative & exquisite workmanship & unique designs, immediately. Mystery solved. :)

There is a reason I've spent much money at Alberto's over the past 25 years. It is, in my opinion, the best place to buy jewelry for my beautiful bride of 47 years. It is all hand made by family members, beginning with the original Alberto of many years ago. When I have my local Michigan jeweler appraise it for insurance, he always marvels at the work AND appraises it for more than I paid. Thank you Alberto and son, etc.

We purchased an opal necklace from another jeweler nearby. After being told at a different jeweler to be aware of synthetic “fake” opals being sold as real, we became nervous that we had been scammed.
After some internet searching, we discovered that the opal necklace was purchased from a shop known to scam people. Also, they make you sign the receipt right next to the “no returns” statement. Scammed reviewers said they couldn’t get their money back.
We walked into Alberto’s and asked if they could tell us if the opal was fake. They said it was clearly a fake. They made no effort to sell us anything, only offered expert opinion on the validity of the opal. They urged us to try to return the piece.
We entered the original store to find it packed with cruise ship customers. We found the salesman we purchased the piece from. He quickly ushered us out and straight to Alberto’s to question their claim.
The gentleman at Alberto’s stood behind his claim of synthetic “fake” opal, and pointed out our receipt said fire opal. The original salesman disagreed with Alberto’s appraisal, but agreed to accept a return.
Alberto’s saved us $1200 USD, did not try to sell us anything, and treated us very kindly.

Wearable Art! Albertos is where you can find the most unique, high-quality hand-crafted jewelry in Puerto Vallarta. Alberto’s has been in business for 40 years. They are customer-centric, exceptional artists. If you want the best one-of-a-kind jewelry, made using Mexican stones and metals, go to Albertos.

This is located in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. It opened 50 years ago with the grandfather introducing us to beautiful handmade silver jewlery. The father and 2 sons are now following the same, one of a kind pieces. It is high end silver and workmanship. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I have over a dozen items purchased over many years and hope to get more on my next trip.

I have purchased pendants and rings from Alberto’s. As they truly are unique pieces crafted on site you won’t see the pieces in a zillion other jewelry stores. They also have resized and repaired jewelry for me too. One of the best in Mexico.

Is this jewelry store close to the Malecon? I've been looking to replace an opal ring I bought at one of the stores but lost when returning to the states. Please let me know.
