We bought the VIP tickets this time and don’t regret it all. We got to board early and pick our seats and get off the boat first for dinner and front row tickets for the show. Dinner was set up right along the coast line and our waiter Jamie was very attentive and polite. They tell everyone to not lineup ahead of time and to explore the area until they rang the bell, but humans can’t help themselves and line up early anyway. We all got filtered in and as a VIP, we get seated at the front rows. After reading some reviews we decided to not sit in the front but in the first row behind the VIP hedge, right along the centre stairs. Some of the performers were right next to us, and a great view of the entire show. We did the 5:30 show and we’re back by 11. Some reviews said to bring jackets, but if you’re Canadian you shouldn’t need one when travelling back on the bottom floor of the boat. Other reviews mentioned getting splashed but we didn’t have any problems even with choppy water. Our only very small complaint is the speakers on the boat get very loud. My watch was warning of >90 decibels. Overall a great experience, and we can’t wait to take our kids to it next time we are PV.

We went to Rhythms of the Night on Wednesday evening and had a wonderful experience! We went to the early show. Arriving at Las Caletas with the lights and candles, walking to the dining area and enjoying the ambience of dining while looking out over the moonlit bay was truly special. The show was also amazing…so much artistry and talent. We loved it! We did pay extra for VIP. It was worth it to have priority boarding and disembarking and also to sit in the front row for the show. The boat ride was very loud. (I’d suggest not sitting near a speaker.) The buffet food was okay, but not the highlight of the night. Yes, there are the lines and crowds when boarding at the terminal as well as getting into the theater, but it wasn’t unpleasant. Everyone was relaxed and happy and the process was pretty efficient. There is the picture-taking, but that’s somewhat expected almost everywhere you go here. I didn’t feel pressured to buy and I also felt like the prompt to tip was more subtle here than in most places. It was such a great experience overall. I feel it was well worth the money spent and I’d definitely recommend it.

On November 15, 2022 we returned to Rhythms of the Night in Puerto Vallarta for the third time to be very disappointed that the original cultural show had been changed to a gymnastic and talent show similar to Americas Got Talent that can be seen anywhere. The original show was unique to Mexico, it’s culture and myths. It used local talent. The current show uses foreign talent. The mechanical props don’t belong in the jungle setting. There were no costume changes compared to amazing feathered costumes, masks and makeup in the original show. The number of acts that came from the height of the tall trees was reduced to only one. The lush jungle background appeared to have been cut back. The boat ride and candle lit buffet continue to be superior but the Cirque du Soleil show was comparatively so disappointing I wanted to close my eyes. Please consider returning to the original show. We will not continue to return to this event with the current act that replaces the previous rich cultural experience with dumbed down international entertainment that can be seen on weekly television.

This excursion was fantastic! The whole experience, from boat ride to show, was so much fun. We really enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere of the boat ride, and the drinks were flowing non-stop! We even had a dance floor! The buffet was also so delicious! Everything tasted fresh. The show was so mesmorinzing! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I felt the show was a bit short (around 40 minutes). I wish it were longer, considering the boat ride to and from each took over an hour. A great experience overall!

This was the most fun I have had in a very long time. The boat ride to the destination was high energy and full of fun. Never an empty glass! The walk up to the restaurant was mesmerizing and beautiful. Candlelight and torches lit the walkway. Food was exceptional and a plenty. The show - well can't say enough about the show. It was funny, engaging and kept you on the edge of your seat! Spend the money and do this excursion - you will not be disappointed!

This experience was amazing!!! Though we did leave later than scheduled we recognize it was out of their control as cruise ships were leaving the same time we were. The staff in the boat to the location were friendly, attentive and very entertaining!! Drinks were good as well!! Once at location, the staff explains everything thoroughly of what/how it works. The restaurant food was hot, delicious and had many choices even for a picky eater like me…the show was above and beyond amazing!! I recommend this 100%!!! Keep in mind the boat ride to/from is about 1hr each way and can get bumpy. Also take a sweater cause it does get cool at night.

We enjoyed the whole experience! The boat we were on, boat 4, had a fabulous staff, with a great leader. They gave exceptional service and were so entertaining. (Even though our ride was a little bumpy at times) The venue itself is beautiful, from the candle and torchlight walk to the restaurant and then to the show. The food was excellent with choices for everyone. The show was amazing, the performers skilled. Definitely bring a jacket or sweater, it does get chilly later, especially on the boat ride back. Also, you must be able to walk up and down steps and hills to get to the amphitheater.

We take this tour every time we are in Puerto Vallarta and can I say, it just gets better and better. This last time we did it, there was a group of 50 of us for my 50th birthday, and the whole thing was awesome from boarding to sailing back in. They made sure our whole group was in a private area together. The food was even better than last time - EXCELLENT! And the show just gets more impressive. Our entire group could not stop raving about this experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

From all the tours I did through this company this one was the only one worth it. The show is amazing , lots of drinks and food. Food is not the best is ok but overall the drinks and the show make it worth it. The price is very reasonable as well! I recommend. This is the only tour from Vallarta adventures I recommend!

Don't underestimate ALMA, Rhythms of the Night. It is a fantastic deal that includes a fun and beautiful boat ride, a delicious meal on the beach, and a show worthy of Las Vegas. This tour has a little bit of everything for a reasonable price.
