Really enjoyed the boat trip through the mangrove swamp where we saw numerous birds and crocodiles of various sizes in their natural habitat. Very knowledgeable naturalist guide and boat captain. Area is protected by the state as a natural park

This is a nice way to see animals in their natural habitat. We saw several crocodiles and birds. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

We just showed up and there was a lot of space. This isn't always the case though. You can book ahead by contacting JR through the Vallartainfo webpage or PM him. He's all over the Puerto Vallarta forum at Tipadvisor .
