This church is very well decorated with ornate decorations. There is a message behind the décor it definitely make you concentrate on our Lord and Saviour. Even if you mind starts to drift it will quickly return to the purpose that you are there for and that is to ask for forgiveness.

Attended Sunday mass which was half in Spanish and half in English. Nice experience. Was a little anticlimactic when we went out to see tourist and tour guides lined up outside, BUT at least they were not interrupting the service.

The crown on top of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe is magnificent! Even though an earthquake threatened to destroy it, it was rebuilt and looks amazing. Truly a place to see in Puerto Vallarta!

Beautiful church dedicated to the Lady of Guadalupe using local materials. The church tower is topped with a wrought-iron crown hoisted by angels designed to resemble one worn by Empress Carlota of Mexico. ItThe original was damaged in the 1995 earthquake and replaced.

What a beautiful old church this is. The inside and outside have so much charm. We stopped for a quick visit during our trip into town and mass was going on during that time. It is only a couple blocks from the boardwalk so it is easy to get to.

Very impressive landmark with beautiful architecture and wrought iron trim on the tower. One only has to look around for this tower to know where one is at anytime. Great feature.

The revered Lady gives an insight into life in Puerto Vallarta going back over a century. She is a tribute to devout Christians of the area. She is not ornate but while you are present she will help instill reverence for life.
