The church stole all the gold in the Americas to adorn their European churches. This one gets a lot of gold paint.

Skip the paid for walking tours and do it on your own. Take a cab anywhere to the Malecon ( boardwalk) and everything is there. Walk to the Church and see the beauty yourself.

The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe was just beautiful. It's a semi short walk from the area in Old Town The Park that we were staying. This is worth a visit and some great photo ops too.

Although the church has become a great tourist attraction, it was still a church and still operating as such. We sat in on a baptism and had a chance to kneel and pray.

This church is right off of the main square p. Crowded at times but always entertaining and some vendors are open for shopping. Service was going on when we visited so we sat and listened a while. Beautiful structure with nice stained glass.
