This church is really beautiful and is the heart beat of Puerto Vallarta. The food just in front of the church is amazing, and if you want to sit and eat, try El Companero.

We were enjoying a walk along the Malecon in downtown Puerto Vallarta and the church is very close to the main square along the Malecon, so it is easy to take 15 to 20 minutes to take a look at the church. The structure and décor has some unique aspects to it.

One of the best experiences I've had in Vallarta. The processions in the streets leading to the church was such an incredible celebration to witness.

This is a beautiful church in use by the faithful. Gorgeous to see, but please be reverent for those who are there seeking the Lord. Not just a tourist attraction. It is clearly a part of the culture and fabric of this community.

This was a stop on one of the Puerto Vallarta tours. It was a short excursion, but very much worth it. The outside is beautifully lit at night. The inside is an array of relics, tapestries, artwork, and historical iconography. They have open mass you are welcome to attend. There is also a table outside where you can purchase handmade... A trip to Puerto Vallarta would not be complete without a trip to see the inside and outsidet of this beautiful church and well worth the few extra steps up from the malecon. And with a little luck a wedding or service may be going on.Just be quiet and respectful and enjoy a glimpse into mexican life. There is a... More

Stunning Church to look at inside and out. A must see if you like religious architecture. Obviously bringing joy to hundreds as it is always packed out. However, as a dog owner we found on our recent trip to Vallarta the noise from this Church unbearable. The extremely loud canonball fireworks set off randomly from the Church roof were awful,... If you like history and churches make sure you stop by. It was very beautiful lit up at night. We took a pirate ship excursion the night before and to see it lit up was amazing. That is why I went the next day to see it.

A real gem lit up at night! This is a stunning old church with a crown topper that glows gold at night. Any spot in the city and you can see this beauty.
