If you like history and churches make sure you stop by. It was very beautiful lit up at night. We took a pirate ship excursion the night before and to see it lit up was amazing. That is why I went the next day to see it.

A real gem lit up at night! This is a stunning old church with a crown topper that glows gold at night. Any spot in the city and you can see this beauty.

This church was very ornate with the older décor. I am glad they have not changed anything from the original church. I could feel an overwhelming good feeling come over me as I walked in the church. If you are not a church going person, you must still visit the church of our lady of Guadalupe. Words can not describe... More

What a stunning church! The view is even better at night when it is all lit up. I'm not sure what the occasion was, but at 6:45pm the bells started ringing and then kept ringing and kept ringing and then what sounded like gunshots. We jumped about ten feet. We decided to walk inside and I'm assuming there was ongoing... More

If you are visiting the Malecón in Puerto Vallarta, you should make a point of visiting this very beautiful church with its iconic crown atop its tower, installed in 1965.

10am mass is bilingual. Nice to enjoy the history and culture. We missed the 12/12 celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe's feast day but I'm told the processions and celebrations are fabulous

While walking up and down El Malecon, you'll not want to miss this historical and reverent spot. We appreciated the structure, the crown of El Malecon. This is an active church with ongoing services, please pass through with respect. We really enjoyed the time we spent going through the sanctuary and the surrounding rooms.

Beautiful Church! We love the "Carona" and how iconic this is to Puerto Vallarta. The inside is less impressive than Cathedrals in Europe, but still very glorious. If you are wanting to attend Mass in English, it is only offered on Saturday at 5pm. The day when we went, however, the English Mass was bumped for a wedding. There is... More
