Excellent excursion!! I can not recommend this enough. Send them a message via WhatsApp. They will meet you at Boca and give you a quick boat ride to and from Playa Las Animas, guide you to the adventure park, includes lunch, umbrella and chairs on the beach - all for $30!!! Our guide was incredible, he helped us with everything throughout the day. We had such a great time we went back again the next day.

My very first review! I created an account JUST to be sure I wrote about this place! First off Octavio was truly amazing! Friendly and engaged with my children the entire time! I believe it was Carlos who stayed side by side with my 4 year old the entire way was so amazing and encouraging! My 7 year old is a bit on the "keep safe" boat and they were so kind and gentle with there words of encouragement that EVEN my 7 year old about 10 minutes into it started changing his cables on his own with NO help!!! I encourage anyone with kids to definitely stop here and make time for this! This will be our first stop next trip and then do it again the day before we leave! We explore all of Vallarta every time we come and so glad we came out for this!
Thank you thank you ADVENTURE PARK!
P.S. Take advantage and buy the disc full of images our disc of pictures were so much fun and captured moments we want to look over and over again!
Oh another P.S it was much cheaper to pay in pesos then to buy online right there when u get there! I believe it's cash only to get in whether US or Mexican.
Hope this review helps anyone thinking about going!!

I booked this based on the Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Family of 4 cruising on the Carnival Splendor, I booked through the Puerto Vallarta Tours website, which included transportation to and from the cruise port terminal and lunch. I was a little worried about the ages and size of my 2 boys, ages 6 & 4, but they had no problems with this obstacle course. They had so much fun! They completed the course and said it was the best day of the entire cruise vacation. Octavio, one of the Las Animas staff, was with my 4 year old the entire time helping him through the entire course from start to finish. He was also encouraging my 6 year old who another staff member was helping him during the difficult spots. Both my boys loved the zip lining and the ropes. It was very hot the day we went, but we were covered under the canopy of trees and in a lot of shade.
I would recommend wearing shoes during this course and change to sandals/flip flops when ready to hit the beach. I had my kids wear Crocs thinking it would be okay, but my son got blisters on his feet.
I would highly recommend this place for families looking for a fun time!

I visited Las Animas as part of a party boat type tour (Wasn’t too impressed with the boat ride other than spotting whales). Let me start by saying that I’ve visited other zip line attractions in various places, so I was a bit disappointed by this one, but only because of its size. There are a total of 3 zip lines, but the last one you must be able to do a full pull up before they allow you near the 3rd line. I did more climbing and rope walking than zip lining, but otherwise I enjoyed the experience. The staff is extremely professional, and very friendly. They’re very encouraging, as well. You’re not allowed to use a camera for safety reasons, but they do offer a CD of pictures taken of you as you go through the course. I just advise to dress appropriately: I watched a teenaged girl do the course in a dress and flats, and couldn’t help but to wonder what on Earth she was thinking.

We paid for a adventure day which was all-inclusive of a boat ride from our resort (Paradise Village) to Las Animas. The crew was excellent and was very attentive during our trip which included a little fishing during the travels. We were served breakfast on the boat along with drinks and sightseeing of downtown PV. We stopped for some snorkeling which my kids (10 and 4) enjoyed since they saw a variety of fish. After snorkeling, we went to Los Animas for some zip-lining, lunch, drinks, and beach relaxation. We had some concern with the Adventure Park zip-lining, but Octavio was great with my little one. He made sure someone was with my daughter the entire time and we all had a blast. We purchased the photo disk that memorialized the adventure. We would highly recommend the Las Animas adventure since it was an amazing time.

We went by chartered boat to Las Animas for lunch and an afternoon on the beach. There is not much to the beach area - it is a strip of cookie-cutter Mexican beach restaurants all serving the same fare at pretty inflated prices.
Our boat captain delivered us to a smaller boat to take us to shore (100 pesos for the micro-round trip) and we were very obviously steered to just one out of the several restaurants to choose from..."Pinchon" (pigeon) was the place where our guy likely got a free lunch if he brought paying clients.
He delivered us, and we sat down amid the usual plastic tables and chairs, and were offered menus with all the usual Mexican choices. 830 pesos later, we'd had 1 order of guacamole (average quality, even a bit runny), 1 order of chicken wings (overcooked and dry), 3 seafood tostadas (okay), and a plate of coconut shrimp (very average), plus one margarita and 2 glasses of wine. Yawn. But kind of pricey.
I have heard the Ocean Grill in this area is the place to go, but you need to make a reservation and pay a deposit online in advance. That is just too much advance planning for me. But it sounds like it is the price for decent food in this remote area.
From what we could see (and what we ate), I don't know why anyone would bother making this trip. A bit of a let down.

My kids and I went to the Las Animas Adventure Park yesterday and we had a great time. It was enjoyable and not overly difficult. The instructors were very helpful.

We visited the park few days ago. The whole process was great. Bernard the owner was very easy to communicate via Whatsapp and helped us to arrange the best way to get there. We took an Uber to Boca and Maria, a park staff was there waiting for us. She arranged the short boat trip to Las animas and walk with us to the park. The park team was amazing. I was worried that my 5 y.o would not be able to do the activities, but someone went with him the whole time. We all had a great time. Also, we took the photographing service and got amazing pictures from us in the circuit. After spending about 1 h in the park, Maria walked with us to the beach where she arranged for lunch. We spent another 3h in the beach and Maria brought us back to Boca, where we took a bus home. Highly recommended for adults and kids alike

I usually take the water taxi from Boca de Tomatlan to las Animas but this year decided to hike there. The trail meanders along the coast line giving great views of numerous tiny secluded beaches along the way to stop and cool off. Once you arrive in Las Animas, you can sit down at one on the many restaurants, enjoy a meal and/or cocktail and catch the water taxi back to Boca.

What is the best way to visit Adventure Park? Is it better to travel on our own and just pay at the entrance? Or, should we do an organized, all-inclusive tour? We will be staying at Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta. The only tour company I can find that offers this excursion is Puerto Vallarta Tours. If we just go on our own, can we still purchase the lunch package? Any insight on this location would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The web site say a minimum age of 7 years old but it looks like there are people that brought kids younger than that. Can we take our 5 year old?
