We got on a boat in Sayulita and it took us out of the bay towards Marietas Island. On the way we saw a whale and it calf. Our captain and tour guide snorkeled with us in an area with very clear water before we got to the Island. Once we got to the Island we got to swim through... More

This is a beautiful place to see some amazing fish. Although I do wish we had seen more. The staff was great and very attentive. The lunch and cocktails were good. The best part was seeing the dolphins ride the wake of the boat.

Staff were terrific and very entertaining. Snorkeling was good, kayaking fun and the boat bird tour very informative and enjoyable. The lunch buffet was excellent. Safety was paramount...everyone had to wear life jackets in the water and no open bar until everyone was done in the water! Very impressive!

If you only do one thing in p.v. This is it. So beautiful, like no place I have been. What a freak of nature.

We went one day on this adventure and found it rough for snorkelling, but otherwise it was a good trip. There was some site seeing from the boat and also food and drink that was generous and tasty. As per usual the Vallarta Adventure staff added to the enjoyment on the boat ride.

Great tour. Both guides, Fernando and Melissa were wonderful. We went mainly to see the Blue footed Booby but the snorkeling was a lot of fun. I am not a strong swimmer and both guides kept an eye on me and offered assistance when needed. Lucked out and were allowed access to Hidden Beach. Great experience.

So you know that beautiful half moon photo you always see of the Marietas Islands? Well that area was CLOSED 7 months ago! Yep! You cannot visit that place anymore so you may be disappointed if you visit the islands. It's still a great place if it is part of a larger tour, but we were really hoping to see... More

This is a once in a lifetime experience because if the tide is right you swim from your boat into a wide low cave that ends in a beach. If you look up from the beach you realize you're in the hole of an enormous rock doughnut that the sea has carved out. From there there are other tiny caves... More

This was the first of our day trips we booked on a recent holiday to Puerto Vallarta, Kevin and his crew made the trip very memorable and is definitely worth doing- especially snorkeling in the open water!

The best snorkelling ever! The best time is mid morning. The water is calm, warm and many fish look up to see many birds.
