My interest in being a chef was initiated by the emotions and feelings I experienced eating good food and sharing meals with friends and family. With every dish, with every meal, I found a story. So, I became a chef to create stories.
I love being a private chef and created Ventura Chef Services because it allows me to express my artistry, creativity, and imagination. I want my food and the experience of eating a delicious meal to help create a new story, one that you will always remember.

During our annual trip to Puerto Vallarta, we celebrated a special occasion—Linda’s birthday—with an incredible private dinner prepared by Chef Roman from Ventura Chef Services.
This year’s menu was inspired by the vibrant and rich flavors of Oaxaca, and every dish was a masterpiece. Chef Roman’s attention to detail, creativity, and passion for his craft made this dining experience truly unforgettable.

I bid on an auction item for a new charity in Puerto Vallarta, Mx and won! It was very competitive bidding and i could see why when i experienced my "win" last week. Of course everyone wants a taste of chef Roman Ventura's delicate delivery of culinary creations. Beyond the delicious food and exquisite presentation and service and the thoughtful and thorough cleanup is Roman, himself who is such a giving soul. He donated this dinner of which i am speaking to one charity and now he is willing to be part of a Conchas Chinas Homeowners Association event on Nov 21 in Puerto Vallarta, donating his time and talent to the beautification efforts of this beautiful community. Thanks chef Ventura for all you do for the community!

A friend of ours invited us to a dinner that was being prepared by Chef Roman and his team. We were met at the door by Leo, who was the sommelier. We were immediately offered a glass of sparkling wine and had an hour to chat with friends and enjoy delicious chili-marinated shrimp potstickers…and more wine!
When dinner was served, we were seated at a beautifully decorated table, complete with flowers. We enjoyed a beef rib flauta, lime soup, Chimichurri Pork Loin, and a Mole brownie with mezcal ice and berry compote, for dessert. There was a different wine perfectly paired with each course.
Chef Roman is excellent at combining flavors to bring out the best in a dish. He is very personable and accommodating with special requests. We highly recommend Ventura Chef Services for any occasion and look forward to another dinner with them in the future! Cheers!

Although I’ve attended other functions and events where Chef Román made spectacular meals, this week was the first time I engaged his services for a family meal (6 of us) and birthday celebration. We made it an all vegetarian request and I must say it was the BEST ever. Beautiful and so incredibly yummy. The sauces, the textures, the flavors were out of this world. Each course was more exciting than the last. I can’t wait to host another dinner with Chef Román presenting.

Chef Roman prepared a wonderful 5 course dinner for us on our last night in PV. We were six people in a condo. They were professional, very clean and a the food was fantastic. Roman worked with us ahead of time on the menu, accommodating one person with nut allergy issues and another who doesn’t care for meat. Everything was outstanding and highly recommend him.

This was the best food/cultural tour I have been on. The food was varied and excellent, especially the al fresco dining under the huge tree, overlooking the quaint town of Mascota
The raicilla distillery tour was excellent. No tourist trap there, just an authentic presentation by the farmer about growing agave from seed all the way to the final product.
Chef Roman made delicious and honest Mexican food for us.
The trip was extremely well organized and the pace was good. Tour guides were passionate about their own towns and that made for some unforgettable visits to a number of cultural and historic places.
I would do this exact same tour again.

We were lucky enough to have Roman prepare a fabulous birthday dinner for my sister-in-law. The food was fabulous! In particular we had an avacado taco that was SO good that there was no need to include any meat. As if his flavors weren’t enough his personality and enthusiasm for his craft was contagious. Thank you for a lovely dinner and for sharing your passion for unique, flavorful food.

I had an amazing dinner at Casita and Garden last night as part of Ventura Supper Club. Not only was the food beautifully presented it was over the moon delicious. I could have an order of tempura avocado tacos every day. I can’t wait to go back for another dinner with Chef Roman in charge!

Absolutely amazing experience. The reservation process was smooth and easy. The chef and his team were fantastic and friendly. The food was outstanding. We had a 4 course meal and the margaritas, chips and guacamole. Do not skip the margs and chips - so fresh and good. The team let our place spotless. Best experience of the trip!

Could not recommend this team more!! Was lucky enough to have a family dinner designed, cooked and served by Roman and his team. It was incredible, from start to finish. The depth of flavors were unreal. Highly recommend you try the Ventura team out, they will definitely not disappoint!!
