Playa las Gemelas is a very beautiful beach where you can relax and just enjoy a calm and quiet place. We loved it so much because there weren't too many people and not many vendors, in fact just one clandestine vendor that sells coconuts lol...which is nice because apart from that, there is nothing but beach, sand and a little... Perfect beach to sit down and relax during sunny day. The isn't local shops, tiendas or restaurants so make sure you bring plenty water and food if you are planning to stay all day.

Almost private, very beautiful blue water and lots of trees for shade :) Great place to take pictures and also enjoy the water.

We have owned a condo at Playas Gemelas for 30 years and totally love it!! The beach is what sold us on the condo, as it has beautiful sand and is clean!! The management of the condos is outstanding and all the help are highly professional. If you ever have a chance to rent a condo here....you cannot go wrong!!

The Playa is very beautiful. It is a turtle launching site. On the south end of the beach is a very good restaurant. A great beach to do nothing other than lay on the beach on a sunny day. Always remember due to the mountains behind you on the southern side of town the sun will not get through until... More

A bit south...but a clean, nice beach for all to enjoy. There is a restaurant close by and a bus stop not far away. Lovely area...

Please bear in mind the access is not easy, after getting there, eather by bus or taxi you need to go down stairs for a couple of minutes and some of the are broken due to the same ocean and waves, so, be prepare to jump! the beach is nice and small but there is a big tree that gives... More

ThenTwin Beaches are located between Old Vallarta and the town of Mismaloya along highway 200. They are really one beach separated by a group of rocks. Both beaches are very quiet and peaceful. Due to it's location, beach vendors never appear there. The waters are crystal clear and very gentle in comparison to Playa de Los Muertos or Mismaloya Beach.... More

We stayed at Girasol Sur and loved this beach. It was pretty much for the visitors of the 2 local condo complexes, but was obviously popular with locals. Sunday was full of local families having a nice day off, kicking soccer ball, playing music and enjoying a corona or tow.
