Puerto Vallarta Cruise and Candlelight Dinner Show

441 reviews
Get out on the water of Banderas Bay to watch the sunset on this evening cruise from Puerto Vallarta. Rather than wandering the city streets to pick a restaurant or bar, have your entire evening planned. Enjoy the spectacular views (and open bar) on the way to Las Caletas, then savor a 3-course dinner and watch a memorable cultural show featuring dance and music.

Incredible day! What a great day we had with Chef Mavi. She took us to several local markets to purchase all our ingredients for the day. It was so fun to shop like a local and see and taste fruits and veggie we don't find at home. We then went to her beautiful kitchen and prepared amazing dishes, learning new skills and laughing all day long. Only to end the day with a margarita and tasting all our dishes while enjoying the beautiful view. You also go home with all the recipes and we can't wait to make them again. This experience is not to be missed and we can't wait to come back again! This is perfect for a couple or families for a day outing.

Absolutely perfect day with Mavi! She took us to the local markets for fresh ingredients for our meal, then back to her beautiful home, overlooking the marina, to make the most amazing meal. She is a beautiful soul and an outstanding chef. We felt so at home with her. We can't wait to visit her again and hope she and her husband come to Texas someday soon! Te amo mucho, Mavi!!

Mavi is the reason why I don’t see cooking as a chore in my life any more . My background::: I hated cooking..... meal prep was a necessary evil draining my energy. 3 weeks after her class I wake up and make guacamole and salsa verde in the morning ......and what’s even better is that I’m excited to make it. I could not imagine cooking could be fun. Her class gave me an indescribable energy to Live, I’m not even kidding. This woman loves what she does, She focused on us and what we wanted to do instead of what I heard about other food educators that they focus on how great they are. Mavi is a great food educator/ cook / and now a friend in Puerto Vallarta. Starting from showing us how to pick avocados and tomatillos and fish at the market, through prepping it with very simple means and introducing us to her family members while she definitely exceeded time she reserved to spend with us...... but we had such an amazing time .... and let me tell you.... her hibiscus 🌺 infused tequila is just a hit..... this comes from a Person who doesn’t really like tequila. I so hope #coronavirus will be under control soon, so we can come to puerto Vallarta again to take a class with her again.

Start your day by shopping locally for ingredients across Puerto Vallarta, Mavi takes you to her favorite butcher, fish market, spice store, produce market . Enjoy the hospitality of chef Mavi in her home, while you prepare the meal you have selected. Hear about local traditions as you prepare the meal, and then sit down to eat the creation while over looking the marina. Mavi is a very talented chef. The food that you cook with her will be amazing.

Cooking with Mavi has become a yearly tradition when we visit PV. We enjoy visiting the markets with Mavi and learning about the local ingredients and flavors. The real treat begins when we arrive back at Mavi's home and begin cooking in the kitchen. The dishes we make together are always delicious and her plate presentations are spectacular and the conversations are always fun. When you are cooking in the kitchen with Mavi, you truly feel like family. When visiting PV and looking for something fun and delicious to do, I highly recommend taking a cooking class with Mavi.
