All the foods were great, but the added information Roman gave us throughout the tour added an extra element to our whole experience. A+

Took this tour for the third time and loved every minute of it. Manny was a wonderful guide and, as always, the food was amazing. I learn new things every time. And the Vallarta “newbies” in our group got a great intro to PV, as well as some terrific food! Can’t recommend this tour enough!

What a great way to discover unique places to eat in PV. I wouldn’t have tried most places had it not been on the tour. And when they say come hungry, that point cannot be overemphasized! I skipped breakfast, but still could not finish my last taco. Pace yourself and save room. It was also great to get a better sense of the neighborhood and walk through the market. Will be taking the “after dark” tour on my next visit. And finally, big thanks to our guide Roman. He was very informative about everything we were eating and had a passion for food that was endearing.

We never go to PV without taking one of their delicious and informative food tours, and yes…DO NOT eat breakfast! We brought friends and friends of friends this time, so it was extra special, especially with Roman as our guide. I love the delicious juices that accompany the breakfast and lunch tacos. Make room for the final fish tacos, the seafood chile relleno & shrimp brochette . It’s okay to pass on one that is not to your liking. The ice cream near the end was so refreshing. I had the juicy lime pop, and everyone raved about their choices from creamy, bursting with fruit ice cream to a chocolaty drum stick. And finally there was the beautiful candy store! A friend, who lives here, said that we are taken to the best street food in PV. Thank you, Vallarta Eats; we’ll see you in a couple of years!

We’ve done this tour at least a dozen times. It covers breakfast birria (my favorite), carnitas, fish & seafood tacos, local markets, quesadillas, ice cream, & a candy shop. I probably missed something because there are 12 stops along the way. The food is safe & incredible. We’ve done the tour recently with different guides. Manny led us our last pre-pandemic trip (he knew the local culture and cared about guests & even rescued me from a foolish flip flop choice in footwear). This time Roman was our guide. He was wonderful for different reasons--mostly knowing taco and salsa ingredients. Both guides were amazing and we learned different things from each. There are other tours & other guides. All have been wonderful. The company has always been prompt in reservations and in answering questions. It’s our favorite activity in Vallarta.
