I love taking walking tours when I visit a new city, so I was excited to discover Sandra's tour online. My husband and I lucked out and were the only two people on our tour. Sandra explained the history of Puerto Vallarta and showed us many of the city's landmarks, such as Our Lady of Guadalupe church and "Gringo Gulch" where the movie Night of the Iguana was filmed and where Hollywood types built beautiful villas in the 1960s. We learned about some local artists and also visited a few shops that sell locally-made and authentic Mexican products, and took a break for a mango smoothie at a chocolate shop. The tour lasted about three hours but we did not walk a very long distance. We took plenty of breaks and popping in stores helped us cool off and minimized the effects of the heat. Sandra also recommended a restaurant, El Campanario, where we had delicious lunch plates with a bowl of soup for the equivalent of US$12. I would recommend taking Sandra's tour upon your arrival to Puerto Vallarta to learn about the city and get ideas for exploring on your own later.

Our guides had extensive knowledge of the history of San Sebastián, and made that history come alive through the spaces and people they brought us to. Transportation was easy and comfortable with the entire experience tailored to our preferences. We will definitely look up Puerto Vallarta Walking tours again!

Sevral years ago I went on a couple walking tours with Sandra and absolutely loved our time together. One another trip I connected with Sandra and we went one one of her out of town tours and of course just as wonderful as the rest. Tbis time i went with my daughter (20 yrs old) and was so glad we were able to do another tour with Sandra. Within minutes you feel like you have known Sandra forever. She is knowledgeable of PV and you can see her love for the place. Next time I go back will definitely be going on another.

Informative, good pace, small group so we could spend time at shops and watch unexpected celebrations happening, and still stay on track.

We took the 'historic El Centro" tour and it was excellent. Sandra takes you off the beaten path and into some vey interesting areas. Sandra has an excellent knowledge of the area and provides excellent information. Its nice to get away from the malecon for a few hours and see markets, historical sites, etc. We had done the Emiliano Zapata tour on a previous visit and also really enjoyed that tour. So do yourself a favor and take a tour with Sandra. Its a great way to learn about Puerto Vallarta and I believe you will be back to some of the sites on your own.
