This is still my favourite beach in all of Puerto Vallarta. Getting in and out of the water from the new pier to just past the Tropicana is usually quite easy. Most of the beach clubs allow you to spend time in their chairs for a minimum purchase of one drink.

Playa de los Muertos is a beautiful sandy beach with lots of opportunities to stop for a cold beer and salsa.

Funny beach of lots of hot men and older straight couples. Lots of fun and spectacular sunsets. It's pretty Gay but that's what makes it so fun

There is a river near this area of beach and the water is always covered in dirty brown scum from the river... we don't know what it is but will not swim in it... would not take the chance

have been coming to PV, romantic zone, for the past 25 years and have witnessed countless changes over this period.Tourists drive the economy of PV and when they request or new or increased service business, the business owners have always strived to make them happy. For years we have enjoyed the services at " Looney Tunes", "Beach Cafe", and now... More

The beach is always kept very clean which is very important to me. It's nice to get a lounger and relax in the sun. The vendors can get a little tiresome but a No Gracias does the job. It's just hard to take a nap when they keep bothering you. The beach is the best place to watch the sunset

The Beach of the Dead, like Los Dias de Los Muertos, is quite the opposite of what you might expect----it's lively, fun and full of adventurous things to do from Parasail to Banana boating.

It's a great beach for people watching. A lot of Mexican families come to Los Muertos, especially on the weekends. Plenty of beach vendors, so you are able to buy almost anything. Good view of the pier, even if it is in need of repair. Would have rated it much better, but it seems with the growing number of beach... More

I find the beach at Playas de los Muertos to be not nearly as hard to relax at than previous years. The merchants seem to be less aggressive than before. The beach itself is quite rough, having quite a slope to it which makes it hard to walk on if you have any kind of problem walking and the waves... More
