This beach is gorgeous and the waves are VERY gentle. Please bring and use big spray. There is no (or very little) electricity here, so do not expect to have fans, air conditioning or the like. Just enjoy the food, the beach, and the chill atmosphere!

This beach though is far from the city is worth it...the waves are so calm you feel you are in a pool. it seems like there is a lot of people but you can still find an nice area for yourself. I would recommend taking a umbrella in case there is so shaded area available and you want to be... More

We visited this beach as part of a day trip by boat. The water and beach are beautiful but there are hundreds of people arriving at the same time so it very crowded and the restaurants are not very nice.

The food was amazing, the service was even better. We chartered a sailboat for the four of us from Marina Vallarta. We paid about 250 per couple for the boat for 6 hours. We stopped at Los Arcos along the way to snorkel. Then continued here..it was an amazing day. We saw many packed tour boats and felt we had... More

Beach is great. Several restaurants to choose from while visiting Las Animas. One good restaurant is Los Conos and they accept credit cards. It is worth visiting.

Took day trip from Mismaloya beach to Los Arcos and settled at Las Animas Beach for a solid 5 hours (20 minute boat ride) with kids (6 and 8). The water was beautiful and the sand was very soft. We enjoyed this beach over many others because there were far less boats here (maybe slower day) - which meant hardly... More

The beach was very nice and the food was good. The service was a bit slow, but I think that is because of the large boat tours that came by. A great place to relax and play in the water.

We just visited the area on July 4th and had an awesome time with the family!! We had to travel on a taxi to maritime terminal. $100.00 pesos for all four of us! Around $5.55 American dollars. From there we boarded the boat called the "Sarape". Make sure you take pesos to pay the port fee that no one told... More
