Dining, shopping, bars and little parks located here. There are steps, so not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Worth spending time here.

Visited the old town area while taking a city tour. Very interesting to see the older architecture and cobblestone roads. A very interesting place to drive.

Half a block from the water, beach and restos. Right in the heart of the zona romantica. Simple, but lovely place to stay in PV. Stayed in the Penthouse suite with 1&1/2 baths, big terrace, full kitchen, etc.. Definitely would stay again!

Nice to stroll through and see how it was in the old part of town! We didn't do much other than stroll through and check out some shops!

All cobblestone stress so narrow and steep. Amazing homes! Even saw where Liz Taylor and Richard Burton lived! Amazing how they drive here!

Forget the fancy resorts. Forget the high-end shopping. If you really want to experience Mexico, fun, and the beach, then Old Town...or Zona Romantica...is the place to be. This is where the fun is. The best beach. Great restaurants. Fabulous people. They are authentic Mexicans...More

My wife and I just spent 2 weeks in PV and found something that I think more people should know about. The city hall offers two different city tours that are free and well worth taking. The tours take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays at 9:00...More

We made several trips into Old Town during our March trip to PVR. Although the theatres and increase in number of restaurants have altered the area it still maintains a certain amount of charm. Many of the old shops and certainly the markets are still...More

The municipal stadium is part of the malecon just where it leaves the shoreline and turns two shots. If you follow the malecon northward from the pier you will encounter the municipal stadium shortly.

Sorry, we didn't go down to the Malecon on a Sunday. We really only went down one night and that was to go to one of fancy restaurants on the beach in the Romantica District.
