Beautiful beach. Beautiful surfers. From this beach you can see miles upon miles of Mazatlan coast. If you narrow your vision you might think this is what it looked like a hundred years ago. But today you get to see high-rise hotels, beach umbrellas, and...More

Cerritos (5 Replies)
Thinking of renting a house close to Playa Cerritos. Is this a good area to live? Safe? Any decent restaurants close? Closest supermarket? Thanks in advance. Mike.

Playa Cerritos covers a fairly large area, there are a couple convenience stores out there the closest big store is a 10 minute Taxi ride. There are several good restaurants at Playa Bruja which is at the end of Cerritos. I have never had a problem with safety out there & wouldn't imagine you would either.
How to get to Playa Cerritos from airport? (4 Replies)

Does anyone have experience taking a bus there? Had a horrible car rental experience a few years ago (I'm looking at you, Enterprise), and my sister is adamant about not renting a car this trip. Many thanks! Kelly

What the guys at Enterprise did was have me sign a number of documents--one which mentioned the credit card hold that was supposed to be refunded when the car was returned in damaged. When we checked out, they charged us $300 over the advertised rate & kept pointing to what I signed. My...More
