Playa Cerritos is s little bit of a hike from the golden zone but is very pretty. The surf is super rough during the summer months (I saw a harrowing save from a life guard last night) but the sunsets are gorgeous and beach walks (at low tide) are very pleasant. The winter months are much better for swimming. Cerritos... More

Great area to spend a day or afternoon very busy but surprisingly nice. Everyone is friendly and lots of local gift shops. Bars every where you walk with great deals and the massage huts wow, I say it again wow 25 usd a person for an hr and they were great. Highly recommend getting 1 or 2 during your stay

Step into a time machine and go back fifty years and you will find yourself walking along the beach at cerritos. There are several Certificate of Excellence winners nearby. Stop at The looney Bean for great coffee and exceptional food. This is a very under-appreciated place on the surfer safari route.

Made a stop at this beach after taking the cerritos juarez bus to the end of the line! It was off season for tourists and we stood out, some people even asked us if we were lost haha unique beach, local families set up having lunch/picnics, digging for clams/oysters in the rocky area on the edge of the beach. Great... More

So happy we were able to spend a week at this beach. We enjoyed our daily long walks, watching the dolphin and fish in the ocean and playing in the never ending waves. There are several restaurants you can walk to, or simply jump in a taxi or pulmonia and go anywhere! It is a very easy place to be.... More

Spent two weeks at a condo on Cerritos during the Holy Week period. A little activity however nothing like he Golden Zone, beach is long, wide and clean. Right after Holy Week, locales were picking up what little mess was left after all of the celebrations.

Cerritos Punta RV park, super place, wonderful area of Mazatlan. Great beaches from the ocean to the sea of Cortes of sand and surf. Warm breezes to full hot sun to the beaches. Street cafes to open craft stores. Happy times with wonderful people.

if you are not in the mood to stay with other tourists, this beach is desert and very quiet and relaxing. Bring with you few drinks and food to spend the afternoon there. It's beautiful! I recommend!

because of location, there are much fewer people on the beach, much fewer vendors as well. good for water activities. may be a little wavier, but still nice.
