This is a tight course. There are many houses on 18 of the 27 holes. Some of the houses are very beautiful but quite close to the fairways.

Husband golfed 3 times while on our trip. He enjoyed himself and enjoyed his caddy. You do have to pay for a caddy when golfing here.

Caddies are becoming a thing of the past but not in Mazatlan at the El Cid Golf course. This course is easily walkable, and having a caddie is so much fun! They know the course, the greens and will become familiar with your game quickly. Book a week of golf for so little! I have paid $250+ for a round... More

we liked the course. A bit dry for what we are used to but had a funny caddie. Tip: have plenty of balls. we lost 10 in all the water on the skinny course.

This is a well maintained course and very inexpensive. If you get the 2 for one tickets at the front desk the golf is $27/person
