Best deal in Mazatlan; 10 pesos per person each way on the city bus to Cerritos. at the end of the line, take the road to the left to Playa Bruja. Beautiful white sand beach, restaurant and board rentals. The shops on the road have good deals, too!

We drive from Golden Zone to Brujas every few days. We brought our dogs with us all the way from Canada & they love walking the beach there as do we.

Walking the beach from the El Cid Marina to Playa Brujas is a jaunt but worth the walk. Once at Cerritos point the brujas offers cold beer and food if you're so inclined. Accessible by city bus as well, but the walk is better. Lots of surfers to watch as you enjoy your drinks and food. Using the banos however,... More

Take a cheap bus ride or a local palmonia to the end of the road near Cerritos and enjoy lunch at one of the authentic local restaurants. Do a little souvenir shopping. Check out the peaceful beach.

We stayed at the Riu and every morning would head out for some crazy waves and then a walk along the great sand to have some fresh oysters where the fishing boats come in. Its much more laid back than the Golden Zone but that is exactly what we wanted!

This beach is near a stone cliff and excellent seafood restaurant. In the evening surfers are out and are fun to watch. Parking is usually convenient.

Nice beach and was quiet when we visited. Local transit goes there and there is a great restaurant on the beach.
