Best way to get there get in a pulmonia. Enjoy the drive that's part of the fun. Stop along the way for a beverage and enjoy the weather. Once you get there the view is amazing. Looking over the town makes it look really small. I would go again because part of the experience is the drive. It's just something... More

We did this hike on a very hot afternoon. Bring water! There is an amazing view from the top of the sea and the town. It is an easy walk up and down. There is a concession at the top for gatorade, fresh lime trees growing, and benches to rest upon . I have a full knee replacement and did... More

If you are looking for great views this is the place to visit, Lookout Hill - cerro del vigia. You can see the harbour where the cruise ships dock, the beautiful ocean and Olas Altas bay most times filled with surfers and sun worshippers. The hike up Lookout hill can be long and tiring if you're not in good shape,... More

One thing everybody needs to do when in Mazatlan is get a Pulmonia or a red truck (depending on group size) a pay to have a tour of Mazatlans Centro, the malecon, Plaza machado, the market Pino Suarez, Olas Altas and the city view. We had the music blaring, cervezas in hand, and the best party on wheels ever!

All the buildings were shimmering in the glow of the sunset when we were up there to look at the views below. The cruise ships can be seen from here, the churches with the steeples and the famous light house. On the ride up, many of the houses in the area were big and impressive and we were told by... More

This has one of the most spectacular areas to view the ocean & vast city, however, please keep in mind there are homes along this road , so show respect, be quiet & don't leave you garbage behind..

Ask a cab driver for a local tour of Mazatlan. It won't cost you much. Maybe 100 pesos. Part of his tour is likely to be the hills where all of the Americans live. While your up in the hills, ask to see lookout mountain. Be wary of the cabbies brakes! They aren't always in good repair and your stress... More

It is a hill, what would there be to do? People LIVE there but there is nothing to do there. A nice view on the west side though.

I went to El Mirador by pneumonia cart as I call it. It's actually the pulmonia open air taxi. They take you most of the way up. It's just a place with a good view. The lighthouse is straight across from it so you can get an excellent view of it, as well as, the port, ocean, and downtown area.... More
