WOW WHAT a SUNSET

Little seaside village where EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Restaurants line the beach . . . facing west. BEST sunset views on the costalegre.

The beach was beautiful, the colors of the ocean were mazing. The bad thing was that the ocean was pretty rough. The locals told us that it was a few days like that, but usually it has pretty peaceful water.

The beach was nice and calm great even for small children. We stay for the day. We paid for a small boat trip that included taking... More

Barra, a cute little town on the beach, Living in Melaque for 6 months I had many opportunities to visit Barra de Navidad. The town is clean with a good selection of restaurants, bars and hotels. During the tourist season, October to April there are more gringo's than locals.

I have been going to Manzanillo for years but until this year I had not visited Barra. Wow, what a mistake. I love the place. Lots of good restaurants and the best beach in this part of Mexico. I can only say it -- GO!.

I live here and have don for the last 13 years. I actually live just outside town but enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here. Good fishing, good food. The climate certainly beats the UK too!

From my personal experience, all the beaches in Mexico are the best we have been. Really beautiful beaches, excellent food and overall quality service. Barra de Navidad is not the exception, one of the most popular touristic spot besides Puerto Vallarta. Recommended for sea lovers and honyemooners (of all ages, of course!).

It is a small village with restaurants and shops. You can take a boat to visit the surrondings or go visit Grand Isla Navidad resort.
