Oscar was such a great guy to show me & my cousin around this beautiful small town. He went above and beyond to show us around, very passionate and also very patient to show you around and answer any questions one has. Most definitely coming back next year to come with family. People here are beyond amazing, kind, generous, & beyond respectful. Huatulco, Mx🇲🇽 is definitely a must must to do. Especially this tour with Oscar. Thank you again and hope to see you next year. Amazing experience that we will go home to. Thank you for such a memorable tour.

We purchased this trip from a place next door to the church in Crececita. The bus came right on time. The driver, who was also the guide was so friendly and helpful. He spoke Mexican and English so everyone knew what was going on. The trip was long and on very bumpy roads, no good for any one with motion sickness, but the scenery was lovely. Once there, the waterfalls were lovely and the water so refreshing. The meal afterwards was included in the price, typical Mexican meal. We also visited a coffee bean farm, who also carried herbal remedies and natural products.

First off read loads of reviews, decided on Anna's Travels Huatulco. To me she sounded like and as we found out, most likely the best! We booked in advance, she's busy so don't miss out. Coordinated our start time, she recommended early to beat the crowds. It was a rough ride once we got off the main roads but you have to realize, this is off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Her car was clean, well maintained and air conditioned. On our original tour we were to stop at a coffee plantation and learn about coffee and cocoa. We opted out of that. Then she suggested that we try to do 2 waterfalls in one day and we went for it. Now on to the review. Our first tour of the falls was after parking the car and then walking on a beautiful but rugged trail along side the river dotted with many pools that you could swim in. The walk because it was in the morning and cooler I would guess was a constant stream of many different varieties of butterflies and moths. With the sound of the water and many falls it was VERY relaxing. Could have done just that all day. Along the way we had splashed in various pools along the way and the water was super clean and very refreshing! Once we had reached the uppermost falls there was a man running a small booth for some snacks, beers and some tequila. All along the way Anna had suggested that whenever we wanted to stop and take pictures or had any questions, any time was a good time. She knew the pools well and said where we could take our phones in the water when we could touch bottom and when not too. At the more challenging areas she told us how where and why to step in or on certain areas of rock. Very helpful! At this time I will say do not bring small kids or if your older and not sure of foot, this might not be the tour for you! Dangerous for the kids, hard to get you out if you hurt yourself. But if you can manage, AMAZING! Back to the review. After reaching the top and had our fill of photos, we walked back on a shorter route where some taxi's take you missing out on the peace and tranquility! Back into the car and over to the other falls! Anna all along the way answered any questions we had and provided loads of interesting facts about the area. Once arriving to the other falls this was a much easier walk with almost flattened well worn and groomed trails. Stairs have varied heights of rise but that is to be expected because of terrain. Not again for the elderly or young kids. At the end of the walk and some more pools. A couple pools now busy with people and a bit crowded compared to our other waterfall adventures when we had the place to ourselves. We reached a spectacularly large waterfall that you could go underneath. I should have mentioned sooner but DO NOT ATTEMPT IN BARE FEET OR OTHERWISE, USE SOME SORT OF WATER SHOE! Hard on your feet and light moss is very slippery! Again after our fill of photos we left and had a great lunch just off the waterfall property where we had crawfish that actually came from the river. Talk about you 100 yrd diet! Done in butter, garlic and served with rice and beans. Sooo good! I even asked to look in the kitchen. I was bedazzled on what they cooked on and how great it tasted! After the late lunch we were a quiet burned out bunch in Anna's Taxi! Wrung out, pleasantly plump and wondering which other tours we should go on! She was amazing, don't forget to book in advance, tip well because she is definitely worth the private tour!

My tour began by being in a compact car with 4 other full sized adults. My head hit the roof of the car over unpaved roads too many times to count. We stopped at 2 places first to see someone who has wild animals tied up and I was expected to tip them for this. Then onto Mezcal tasting which was fine but not before lunch. Finally the falls, very rough walking, then under the falls on slippery steps, not safe for people with mobility issues. Lastly 80% of the information was in Spanish and I asked before purchasing the tour and was told English would be used. Too long a day for little enjoyment.
