I visited this park while birding with ornitholgist guide Cornelio Ramos Gabriel. The ruins are fascinating, and you can see dozens of HUGE iguanas, Northern Pootoo birds, as well as Boat-billed Herons and Ringed Kingfishers. Really worth the visit!!

Actually, the ruins is nothing special. But the wildlife is! During a one-hour daytime walk we have seen a lot of birds, lizards and four young armadillos! My wife was unable to resist touching two of them!

We had such a great day checking this place out. As many have said, the ruins won't compare to others, but still pretty amazing to enjoy a day trip. The museum has some very cool artifacts. The paths are largely shaded for the most part,...More

Our guide, Huatulco Bird Guide Cornelio Ramos Gabriel, took us here on Feb 9, 2018. We spent about an hour walking around and viewing the ruins. Cornelio knew all the structures and was more informative than the literature. Flush toilets are free. You have to...More

If it's not too late for you and you've already been.. When I was there in February I took a taxi from the taxi stand in the town - very close to the dock - and he came back for me. Most of the drivers wanted more but I'd... More
