This quaint little town is located about 10 minutes from hotels in the Tangolunda Bay, where we stayed. There are so many places to eat authentic Oaxacan food. The town is the closest to the hotels so you may run into hotel staff in town on their off days. This only led us to believe more in its authenticity and... More

A great place for food, drink and entertainment! The square is packed with local families and vendors which gives a tourist a true Mexican experience.

We really enjoyed coming here and resting after a long day of walking around town. Some times we would get a snack and a drink and sit in the gazebo just to have a rest and some peace. The church across the street is lovely. Worth the walk over to see its beauty. There is no shortage of food around... More

We enjoyed visiting the church and surrounding area in La Crucecita. We took a cab there from our hotel (about $7) and explored. You don't need more than 2-3 hours to take it all in. You will definitely be approached by vendors selling their goods, but it never felt unsafe or pushy. Very friendly people and we definitely enjoyed our... More

This is the best place to eat out when you are in La Crucecita. It was recommended to us and we eat out a couple of times. They have a variety of foods to choose from and reasonable prices. Also, big helping. We really enjoy eating there and its very popular place and close.

Have been 3 times now, love the local markets. Lots of variety of menus to choose from. Parking is an issue if you live in the area. A hub for festivals and local events.

Small, quiet, pretty average little Mexican town. Lots of shops. Liked the handmade textiles and clothing the best. Some people very pushy about getting you in to buy. Good food to be found.

Safe and typical little Mexican town, where you can walk freely without being harassed. Check out the beautiful church and visit La Soriana dept store for anything you need (similar to a Wal-Mart). We recommend the city tour to discover Huatulco.
